Ok, I've read several posts asking about secret shops, and I can see a lot of confusionabout the secret shop locations and how to get to them, so I'm going to do my best to clear things up a bit =)
1) Wizard City - Wizard City actually has a few "Secret" trainers.
A) There is a trainer in the fairgrounds (Where you go to fill up your potion bottles) once you enter the fairgrounds, take a left. The trainer, Sabrina Greenstar, is standing on a stage with a card icon above her head. She teaches...
Stun block-(lvl 0 requirement)-Blocks next stun done to you.
Death Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Death spell
Fire Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Fire spell
Myth Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Myth spell
Life Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Life spell
Snow Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Ice spell
Storm Shield- (Lvl 10) -80% next Storm spell
B) There is a trainer in Nightside(You have to complete the Penny Dreadful quests to unlock this area). Nightside can be found behind the waterfall next to rainbow bridge in Wizard City. Once you enter Nightside, you will see Mortis, the Death Tree. He is a trainer who teaches...
Infection-(lvl 0) -50% to next health spell-Death
Distract(lvl 10)-Generate threat on target-Ice
Pacify- (lvl 15)-Reduce threat on target-Fire
Taunt- (lvl 15)-Generate threat on target-Ice
Calm- (lvl 15)-Reduce threat on target-Life
Subdue-(lvl 15)-Reduce threat on target-Myth
Soothe- (Lvl 15)-Reduce threat on target-Storm
C)The last trainer in Wizard City is on Colossus Boulevard. (To unlock this area, you must first complete the questline that takes you thru Firecat Alley, Triton Avenue, and Cyclops Lane.) Once you enter Colossus Blvd., head left and follow the road until you get to the mob-free area where the questgiver Mindy Pixiecrown is at. If you stand facing Mindy, then directly to your left will be a path. Follow that downward slope to the house at the end. There are no lights on in the house, but you will still be able to get in, no worriesOnce inside, you will find the trainer Mildred Farseer. She teaches...
Reshuffle- (20) Reshuffles discarded cards back into your deck
Life Trap- (10) +25% to the next life spell
Dissipate- (22)Dispell next outgoing Storm spell
Quench- (22)Dispell next outgoing Fire spell
Melt- (22)Dispell next outgoing Ice spell
Vaporize- (22)Dispell next outgoing Myth spell
Strangle- (22)Dispell next outgoing Death spell
Entangle- (22)Dispell next outgoing Life spell
Ok, now on to the next area...
2) Krokotopia - This area, like Wizard City, also has a few trainers.
A) This is truly a "Secret" shop. Much confusion surrounds this place and how to get there, so I'm going to try my best to make it easy for you.
Assuming that you take the spiral door to Krokotopia, you will arrive in a building with a door in front of you. Leave thru that door.
Once outside, head left. When you get to the second wooden rope bridge, head over it. On the other side of the bride, you will see a couple buildings. In between the buildings, you will notice that there is a blue circular teleport pad on the ground. On either side of this pad is an obelisk with an hourglass painted on the base of it. Above the hourglass figure, you will also notice that there are several dots, some of which may be lit up. This is how you are going to get to the next hidden shop. You have to waitfor all of those dots to be lit up. This may take up to 40+ minutes, so be ready to wait for your surprise =).
Once they all light up, you will see a stormcloud over the teleport pad, walk over and stand on the pad and you will teleport over to the other island where the shop is. Once you get there, you can visit both trainers, one is inside the shop, the other is on the roof of it.
Inside the shop is Sed Talam, a vendor who sells rare hats, shirts, and shoes. He also sells the mummified deck, and a rare Krokotillian pet for 1,200 gold.
On the roof of the shop, you will find Tish'Mah. This is a card trainer who teaches Minion spell cards.
Shield Minion- (10)-70% next dmg spell on minion.
Buff Minion- (15)+40% to minions next dmg. spell
Siphon Health- (20)Sacrifice minion for 400 Hp Mend Minion- (23)Heal minion for 350 health Draw Power- (25)Sacrifice minion for 2 pips
I feel like I need to mention that this shop is also important in the fact that you have the opportunity to obtain a badge by visiting it five times. Getting the badge is a simple as walking in and out of the shop door five(5) times in a row. I have heard many other theories on how to get the badge, but I assure you, it is as simple as I'm telling you it is.
B) The next card trainer is on the Krokosphinx Island. You will have to do quests to unlock the boat that will take you there, but once you do that, finding the trainer is simple. Take the Boat from the Oasis, and it will fly you to the Krokosphinx. Once you land, look to your right, and you will see the Balance Tree, Niles, who lookes like he belongs in Jamaica or some other tropical island. This Rastafarian teaches...
Spirit Trap-(20)+25% Next Myth,Life,Death spell
Spirit Blade-(25)+35% Next Myth,Life,Death spell
Elemental Trap-(20)+25% Next Ice,Storm,Fire spell
Elemental Blade-(25)+35%Next Ice,Storm,Fire spell
Well, that's it for Krokotopia, now on to the next area.
3) Marleybone- This world only has one secret shop, and it is pretty easy to find.
A) Once you leave the building that the Spiral door is in, head to your right. There is a door that leads into Digmoore Station right next to the crafting trainer. Head on in that door. Once inside, go straight ahead, but veer to the right a bit. Not to far from the entrance, you will find Mayor Pimsbury. Behind the Mayor is a stairwell leading down to a door, this is where you want to go.
Once inside, you will see two trainers. The one on the left, Croaky, is the card trainer. This ugly hunchback teaches...
Sap Health- (25)Sacrifice minion for 500 health
Steal Health- (25)Steal 300 health from minion
Take Power- (25)Sacrifice minion for 3 pips
Drain Health- (25)Sacrifice minion for 450 health
Sap Power- (25)Sacrifice minion for 4 pips
The guy to the right of Croaky is Howard Angleton, he is a pet vendor who sells...
Wood Golem
Brass Golem
Cat Thug
All Three of these pets cost 2,525 gold.
4)Mooshu, Dragonspyre, and Grizzleheim- I'm not going to tell you that I'm 100% sure that secret shops do not exist in these locations, but I am going to say that in all my travels, I have yet to find a sign of their existance. If indeed they do exist, they are extremely well hidden and you have my best wishes in finding their locations and sharing them with the world. Good luck and happy hunting!
Well folks, I hope this has helped you in your search for W101's secret treasures. If you didn't know, to obtain the "Master" of your school title, you must first learn every spell in your school, including the ones that the "Secret" trainers offer, so make sure you buy those up first =)
If I can ever be of help, feel free to shoot me an e-mail or send me a message on this website, I'll be more than happy to assist you if I can. I will also be posting where to find free housing items throughout the spiral, as well as secret bosses, pet drops, etc... So look forward to seeing more from me soon :P
