Please only post in this thread if you are hosting an event, have a question/comment about the calendar, or would like to correct any inaccurate information.

If you wish to add your event please post a link to the event's thread on this thread.

Notes to Host:

• I will try to add your event on my own but I would like you to post it because I may not see your event.
• Please give me at least three days of notice. I should be able to add an event if given less than three days notice but I cannot guarantee it.
• Please talk to all hosts and important guests before you decide on a date and time. This is in order to prevent many changes in date and time.
• If you do need to change the date and/or time and/or host(s) then please post with the updated information. Don’t simply edit your post because others may not see it.
• Try to have your event on a day where it doesn't clash with another user's event. Having yours on the same day as someone else's can cause less people to come to yours and is just a major annoyance all together.
• Try not to have your event on the same day or a couple days after you post it. The reason I say this is because not only is it such short notice, but people who would like to come usually don't have enough time to prepare for the event, and it's just confusing all together.
• Try to plan your event in advance. If you post an event but don't know what it's gonna be about, not only does it cause confusion for everyone but it can also cause the event to not go as well as you hoped.
• Try to bump your thread when you can. This way you have a higher chance of attracting more people to your event.
• Don't have people send you an email for them to attend. When hosting an event, you have to make sure they're for everyone, and not just for a select few, and having people send you an email to attend cuts down on the amount of people who could/might possibly attend your event.
• When having another wizard be the pick-up wizard, it's best that this wizard is NOT a very low level wizard. This is because of the fact that it just makes it easy for scammers and trolls to easily make a new low level wizard of the same name and school as your pick-up wizard and fool people into thinking that they're the pick-up for the event when in reality they're not. By having a decently high level wizard it makes it harder for them to try to fool people this way since they'd have to go through way more time and effort than they would otherwise.

Of course , that is why I added an events without date section. Just please be sure you inform me when the event has ended so I'm not sending people to an event that has passed.

You have to have the thread up before I can add it other wise people would try to reserve spots for events they may have in the future and I don't think the mods would approve of that.
