KingsIsle has been promoting the social media sites for Announcements lately. Does this mean that the original Wizard101 website with the Message Boards and the discussion Forums is being phased out, and will eventually no longer be available?

It happened with Pirate101 already, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the Wizard101 website gets the same treatment. The newer generations prefer social media.

I only ever go to the Official Website to redeem codes and scan Update Notes (or patches to Live Realm if available). For one thing, Ki definitely has viewer/click statistics for many of their url pages for their Official Website and Forums, seeing that they’re lower than the threshold of their other community platforms (Discord), they will direct their attention to where people are.

The only people that really look at the pages of the Official Website are the parents of children checking out of concern about the legitimacy of the game’s friendly story or their families habits (like a parent seeing how their child’s crowns are depleted because of gambling in the Crowns Shop, still a very real issue). But that’s simply not the major population of players anymore: teens who’ve already grown up with Discord or returning players who don’t need to see the Official Website in the first place.

It doesn’t help that other than the very occasional designer diaries and update notes, the information the Official Website has is extremely sparse in comparison to the Central Wiki, this Forum (to an extent), and Discord. There’s just so little reason for this majority of players to visit the Official Website for updates when other platforms can do it quicker (since they’re already there). It’s like giving Basketball Jerseys to Basketball Players in a random airport instead of the Basketball Court lol

If that is what is happening, I wish that KingsIsle would at least acknowledge it. I personally would prefer to have the original Wizard101 website (Message Boards and discussion forums) open.

Question: What part of Wallaru was the most fun or challenging to create?

I completed the theater side quest in Hope Springs, four battles and at the end I received a bit of gold, a treasure card and a couple spellments. Are we going to see the same dreadful drops in Wallaru and they were in Novus? I thought they were supposed to be adjusted to the better.
