Is the Bazaar too cluttered?

The Bazaar is a lot. It's the hub of commerce for gear from level 1 to level 160, housing items, treasure cards, reagents! And well that's a lot and for hundreds of wizards using this location as their main means of gaining gold and purchasing goods, the amount of lag is overwhelming sometimes. Everytime I browse through Hats, my game has to load over 100 pages! I know a lot of players prefer having everything in one place and that's totally fine...

Is splitting up the Bazaar into different vendors specifically selling a certain category of goods (for example Gear, Housing Items, Treasure Cards) sound like a good idea to you?

It's a lot. And I don't help; I park there a lot.

That said, you can buy TCs from the bazaar through the library. I usually go there via tapestry if that's all I need. It seems like KI could certainly add that functionality for other items as well. I'm not sure it would reduce traffic a whole lot though as I do like being able to flip through other items to check for certain decks, wand, reagents, TCs, etc. all in one place as well. Maybe a "gear" vendor, a reagent/snack vendor, etc. by some grouping would be better.

While it is a lot, I think it's fine. My game already has the pages downloaded, so I don't notice any slow loading. Going to more than one place to do all of my "player-based shopping" would be immensely annoying. Frankly, it already is annoying because I have to go back to Wizard City to find this..... one-of-a-kind store? Why are there not MORE Bazaars throughout the Spiral? Also, I'd like the ability to add a "homepage" to the Bazaar because I pretty much only use it to sell, window shop housing decor and buy reagents.

I've never noticed any lag in visiting the Bazaar, the pages load in just a few seconds. As for splitting it up, I kinda like having it a "one stop shop" where I can dump everything out of my backpack without having to go to various shops.

Yes, it is. All my comments pertain to the housing items:

My first thought is to reduce the number of items in the bazaar. Alot of the items that have been there for years can simply be sold by an NPC throughout each world. It sounds like it might be a pain but getting rid of items that have been at 98 or 100 quantity for centuries can be shifted out. No one would probably even notice.

Next, the decoration category is way too much. It's like 42 pages long. It's exhausting sometimes. Everything else is between 15-20. Either shift these items out of the bazaar or into other categories in the bazaar.

Lastly, I'm wondering if it is possible to have a "your favorites" button? While I don't mind searching for rare or specific housing items, I do have my go-to favorites for decorating. Would be really cool to simply click a button, have all my most purchased and favorites items pop up and buy them straight from that screen.

The problem with bazaar is the lack of a search function.

If I only want to look at gear between 90 - 100. Why am I pawing through a stupid amount of pages getting there?

Or if I am looking for a type of housing item. Why can't I just look at rugs instead of the whole roster of furniture items.

Don't get me started on plant life items that are sometimes in decoration category.


Bazaar definitely needs help and not making it into a dozen different shops. But with the mess the share bank still is in, I'm not holding my breath.

Sometimes I feel like it was too crowded, but I agree with a previous post above. I wish they made more than one bazaar. But I guess that would cause some trouble? Like would the things being sold in one bazaar only be in that one? I also think they might do it to encourage newer players to continue questing? Like seeing higher leveled wizards can make them want to play more. Maybe? Could definitely be wrong though. Also I never had too much of a problem with it unless I've been gone for the game for a long time and need to download all the new stuff being sold there.

Having a separate bazaar in Wiz City for Housing, having a separate bazaar in Wiz City for Reagents, a separate bazaar for Treasure Cards, and another one for Jewels/Pins would be helpful. I'm not sure if each section of the bazaar we have now are different programs but if they are, then I imagine it would be easier to divide each section into 4 different NPCs. And I know making an NPC is not difficult (there are NPCs in the Spiral that serve no purpose lol). I know this won't solve the problem with the hundreds of pages of gear but at least it would be a step forward.

Breaking the Bazaar apart into separate locations? I don't think that's the answer. It was originally created as THE one-stop-shop, so we'd be moving backwards if we had to find the correct Bazaar for what we're looking for.

An improved Interface wouldn't go amiss, though. Based on what they did with the Shared Bank, they could be moving toward upgrading the Bazaar in a similar way, so possibly we just need to be patient.
