Losing Spellements from Beast Moon Harvests

I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else...

I've been crafting school specific Beast Moon seeds for the Spellements they drop at elder. But lately when I harvest them the Spellements disappear. I harvest the plant. The Spellements show up in the chat window and as icons on the left side of the screen. I can even click on the icon to get the "Legend Golem has been added to your backpack." Still they are not in my backpack. My backpack and deck are not full. They are not in my bank. It's happened so many times now.

I've written to KI and was told that they would look into it. But that doesn't get back all the reagents I used to craft those seeds or the Spellements. Is this happening to anyone else?

I think they might be lurking somewhere in the Twilight Zone Void that all the Mayhem badges are lost in.

this reminds me that i need to spend my spellments. I have not ever used them. I traded some tc the other day 10 earthquakes and they disappeared too. I checked three times. You're issue is probably just a bug. Give KI time to fix it. Good luck!

When you see the message, "You received: X Spellements", that means that you got a recipe for crafting X spellements (you get 5 each craft). The first time you get a certain spellement, it will be a recipe. After that, you will get spellements like usual.

Another one of the things about Beastmoon that is very confusing to the uninitiated.

thanks for your reply but that is not the case. you receive actual spellements that work toward upgrading spells from beast moon plants. i've harvested them many, many times. they are not recipes.

i appreciate your trying to help though....oooh. wait. i just looked at the Wiki entry for the Death Moon Seed. and it says you can receive One Spellement or Spellement Recipe. I think perhaps you are right! i wonder if this is new? i've not looked to see if i have any recipes. logging on now. thanks Happy Fun Ball. you may have solved my problem

Actually, the answer here is that BOTH can and do happen. Sometimes you get the cards and other times you get the recipes.

While I have not crafted any Spellements yet, I do have several of the recipes; as far as drops I do get quite a few to the point that in some cases I have been able to max the upgrade of some spells and end up sharing them with my other Wizards.

I just thought I'd share my screenshot here, verifying that when the chatbox shows "You received: xxx Spellements" there is a different icon indicator for receiving the recipe:

Receiving the actual spellements does NOT include the words "You received" - as shown higher in the drop list for Iron Curse. Of course, if you're doing other things, it's highly likely that you could miss seeing the recipe icon. These were the harvests from two Death Moon seeds.
