How does it feel to start a new wizard?

It's been on my mind's a little bit. Logan BoomBloom (name to be changed at Level 50) is my myth. He's level 1 or rather level 2-3 since I level locked him while he was roaming around Lemuria and Novus. Lol Imagine a preschooler hanging around a college campus! Anyhow, I was considering leveling him up at last (the last time I'll be questing from Wiz City to Wallaru by then). But I'm hesitant a little as I'm not sure I'll be getting the best experience leveling him up right now. If not, honestly I can wait as long as I need to...

I decided to stop farming manticore madness and work on some low level wizards for now. I'm just waiting for the next world so to keep busy it seems the perfect time to level up low level wizards. At first I was not feeling it, the first day they only got 10 levels. Day two I got 15 more levels. So, I am feeling better about it. It's funny revisiting the old worlds. I heard the new world wouldn't be dropping till after Thanksgiving. So if you're like me and looking for something to do, then leveling alts up is pretty solid.

How does it feel to start a new wizard?

I think the first few times it was exciting going back to the very beginning. I went rather slowly to make sure I didn't miss anything - dialogue, etc. - the first time through. I also took the time to do things "the right way" I suppose. I learned so much during and after my first wizard that my next few wizards stopped to do things correctly - pets, gear, treasure cards, etc.. I'm glad I did it. Made me feel like I did it the right way and I appreciated it much more. After that though, my next couple of wizards just blew through worlds. It's been a while since I started a new wizard. I have no plans to start any new wizards. I can safely say I'm done.

As for you, why not. Sounds like you've got the groundwork for a very successful wizard and experience.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean or what you're expecting by "getting the best experience"; or why you are hesitant to start playing him.

Not long ago I made a couple new characters. My max levels were bored, they've got enough decent gear and until Wallaru comes out they've nothing much to do. I'm blue in the face of doing the Manticore Madness fight, tired of farming skeleton key bosses but I still wanted to play. To me, the first arc was always the most fun so hence, new characters.

I'm enjoying the new characters quite a bit. There are several new quests and changes in WC; it's actually rather fun. I'll admit, it's a bit monotonous at first just having level 1 & 2 spells and going through the learning curve when you are used to playing your max, but you soon get accustomed to it. Also, I don't just play the new ones all the time, I level them as the mood strikes me. I'm not trying to level them up in any rush or going at it like it's a job so I'm having fun with them. I've three subs and characters all over the spiral, but like I said, I find the first arc the most fun.

It's also fun too with the new ones that they get the best of everything. Their big brothers and sisters have passed down so many pieces of gear, pets, etc that they want for nothing. I get a kick out of going to battle knowing that my character is way over powered. I don't have to work and grind like I did with Jonathan Greenflame, my very first character to get him where he is today. Also, I can always team them up with one of their big brothers to make things really easy in the tough spots. Just this morning I took my baby Storm through Kembalugh (spelling) in about 5 minutes, that was fun
