Okay, so I'm logged in. Then I click the "new posts" tab and it says I'm logged out. But I clicked here and it says I'm logged in again and can post this. I'm not logging in and out.

I'm thinking your system is cookie confused. I think I just invented a term. lol

Please try clearing. New posts is part of the busted search function.

The first photo is when viewing the Thanks tab (YMMV when viewing this on profiles not your own), while the second is when viewing the Post Areas tab (consistent across most if not all profiles).

Update: It seems the Thanks error has to do with ones received before tonight's upgrade as it properly shows ones that happened after as shown in pictures 3 and 4.

Update: Another bug I've noticed is that pages don't properly update, often requiring a refresh for it to happen. Examples include edits made to posts and the Thanks tab on profiles. Speaking of the Thanks tab it seems it still counts ones given but then removed, though I don't know if that was true pre-upgrade as well.

Definitely related to broken search. Thanks for that!

Oh and I've noticed the delay in updating....annoying. I'll try to squish that.

The Wizard101 Central Moving Thread from last night was slightly jarring, but I hope the forum's transition is smooth! I think I'm preaching to the choir when I'm saying we can take a couple of days of a break if that's what you need to make everything work out

I think that sometimes with a transition like this, it gets to a point where you have to let it go 'live' to find out where the bugs might be hiding. I am by no means an expert on this, but I'm willing to work with Jester and post on here when I see something that isn't working right. It's a learning process for all of us.

I just noticed today that it looks like the "Subscribed threads" notifications aren't working. I checked my UserCP for my Subscriptions, and they are all listed. But I am not getting any email notices when there is a post on them. ?? Just an fyi ...

I just wanted to say that I seriously wish KI took action as "fast and furious" as Jester is!

After reading the notes and comments in both directions since the server switch; If we thought Central was amazing before, I can already tell it will be light years ahead very soon.

For the entirety of this weekend up until about 5 minutes before writing this message, I could not log in on Firefox (Win10 Home Edition, Firefox 117.0.1).

Checked some things looking at my profile.

I got this error when trying to look at post areas on my profile

Error: connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

and now the iTrading profiles format is misaligned.



Double checked on other profiles in this thread, and I'm getting the two profile issues consistently.

This is just a question. When I am logged in on the Central Forums side, if I open another Window and go to the Wiki side, I am always "logged off". I can click on the "login" option at the top of that page, and it does log me in okay.

In the older version on the Site, if I did login on the Forums, when I opened another Window for the Wiki, I would already be logged in over there too. Once in a while that did not work, but 99% of the time it did.

Will this be the norm now on the Site Upgrade, where I have to click on "login" again on the Wiki side, or is that one of the little bugs?

It isn't a 'problem' like this. Just curious ...

Not sure if this matters or relates to anything going on, but my signature has these weird letters/symbols in front of and at the end of the signature. When you try to edit/erase them out and save it says "Invalid File" and doesn't change or save anything. It doesn't bother me, but thought others might be having this issue. Thanks
