Those of us who are not in a Guild...

It's been a long time since I have not been in a Guild (the Mystical Explorers). No surprise here, I'm happy to jump into whatever the next new thing Ki has got for us and before long, every single one of my wizards that had the ability to join a Guild, were in a Guild.

But that's not all us, some of us have had no interest in joining a Guild since the beginning!

How are you still holding on?

Has your opinion to not join a Guild changed at all since the release of Guilds?

Do you think gameplay is different now that many of the players you encounter are in a Guild?

Are you perturbed or uncomfortable with the idea that individuals in Guilds are getting items (Nullity/Void Gear), Pets Spellements, and Badges that you cannot get since you're not in a Guild?

I know the Summer Update is going to heavily involve Guild Updates. Are you ok with that? Or do you feel excluded? Just because you're not interested in joining a Guild doesn't mean that you no longer matter!

I've not joined a guild mainly because of my home situation and don't feel slighted in the least. The idea of joining one sounds interesting, I wouldn't mind seeing what it is all about, but I'll live. I've seen some of the gear and it's pretty nice but I also think the Novus gear is too at least I'm happy with what I have. So while guilds are interesting, there is enough for me to be involved without them.

I'd like to join a guild, but I'd rather have a guild made up of only my family members for convenience purposes. No drama, no one wanting to do raids, and I wouldn't have to worry about keeping up with whatever is needed to keep the guild running. My family and I can just hop into the guild stuff whenever we want, which is perfect for us since we do work. We'd mostly just do it for the house, though, cause who wouldn't want to decorate a house together with family?



The only things keeping us from creating one is that we're short a couple of people and a couple of our accounts are under leveled.

I can temporarily leave the Central Guild on one of my wizards to help your Family Guild if you like

I haven't joined one yet since I honestly don't understand them fully. @Caspeen mentioned I should join the Central one, and I guess I probably will at some time.

I think for some of us, it is something you will understand and appreciate better once you have a "first hand" experience with them.

Only the future will tell...

i have no interest in the guilds at all i had 2 players ask to join i said no they didn't seem upset about me not joining i don't care about badges.

Honestly, I did not know any of this. I didn't know joining a Guild gave you all of this stuff or the opportunity to acquire it. Still hasn't changed my mind though about Guilds. I'm still neutral on them. I don't really lean one way or the other. I guess the one thing that turned me off a little was that you could get "tossed out" by the owner(s) for inactivity or whatever reason they wanted I suppose. I haven't had the opportunity to join one. I have no game friends. I'm still a solo player - for the most part - and have not seen any effect on me or the game I'm playing. Sounds like I'll be getting deeper in that hole though as new updates come along, but I've also seen a lot of things come and go in this game over my 10+ years playing. I'll probably just hang on until I can't go any further or maybe I'll make a friend and join a guild someday. Either way, I'm fine.

I am in a Guild made up of some close associates, which I believe actually includes a few Central fellows who aren't that active anymore.

In our initial excitement, we decorated the Guild house with a bunch of our rare collectibles, including some of my House Guest collection. Nowadays, however, we don't do much; I'm probably the most active of the bunch and mostly play alone. Few of us are online at the same time now and we never got around to doing a Raid.

In the end, after Guilds is pretty much the same as before Guilds for me.

While I'm in a Guild (two actually, but I'll talk about my main Wiz instead), I don't really see much changing. My guild is pretty slow at updating anyway. None of the rewards seem game-changing. The housing items is nice, but most of them aren't appealing except for the Ice Throne. I hope they continue using Guilds to bring back those retired items (or move it to a PvE boss or recipe instead). I've never been a fan of crowns only/one time only housing (except for special events like the 50 Million Monolith and Selena stuff)

Getting anything done in a Guild pretty much requires that everyone is active and actively getting Azoth, so I suspect my Guild will remain the same for a while.

Thank you for the offer! Once we have some time and we level up the wizards who need it to the minimum level (two are mostly for carrying any azoth that are gathered, so there wasn't any rush to level them up), I'll be sure to ask. It might a bit, though, but hopefully we'll ready when the summer update goes live.
