I wasn't sure this kind of thread is up my alley, especially because I barely scrap the edge of simply being a member and well I don't like talking about people's finances (privacy and whatnot reasons)..... but a part of me really does feel this is a conversation that needs to be have in order for us to fully enjoy the experiences of the game and continue doing so because how much we're willing to sacrifice is the backbone of our experiences.

Anyhow, let's get on with it...

Are you content with the price of Membership or Crowns?

Should there be better deals in the game that account for the economy we're facing?

What else do you have to say about how much this game costs you?

Of course, please don't reveal any personal information or anything you may feel uncomfortable about sharing about your financial situation that you will regret later. And not to mention, to each their own, we're all family here and no family should judge one another

Well, I'm content with the price of crowns when it's 1,000 per 1$ but I think that's how it should have been priced to begin with instead of only during a sale. As for memberships, I just don't find them worth it at all anymore.

Of course if things were less expensive or there were more sales I wouldn't mind, but I think the prices are relatively reasonable. I'm still paying the same price for a sub as I did when I joined, I'd have to check the date for how long but Zafaria was the new world everyone was questing in. There could be a few more crown sales but even the price they are isn't horrible Especially when I see groceries, gas and just about everything else going up in price like crazy (all except my paycheck that is), I'm surprised KI hasn't increased prices when you consider they have to keep a business afloat.

I like to play this little "match three" game on my Kindle. In this game there is a piggy bank you can buy to get coins to play in game. The bank was always 5000 coins for $3.00, I just noticed they dropped it down from 5k to 3k and their "deals" went up double. When you consider the ridiculous jump they took I don't consider KI's prices outlandish when they've been pretty constant for several years.

I do think things like membership and crowns are priced roughly double of what they should be. There is the economy, and then there is also other subscription services that are cheaper than wizard, which makes the price look unfair. There should be sales, but ultimately the existence of occasional sales won't solve the problem of the price being too high for some people. Maybe it would be a fair price if it counted as a subscription to wizard and pirate; as they are now, it's difficult to justify buying both subscriptions with the price and the fact that you can't "make the most" of either with the money you're spending.

I am not happy with the cost of gas, eggs, mortgage interest rates, airline fare, electric rates, baby formula, rib-eye steak, postage stamps, and all the other stuff our inflation has driven up.

I'd have to say that I'm completely happy with what the game costs me compared to other things in my life that I'm paying for that don't seem much worth it any longer. Sure, Crowns sales happen less often, but I find myself wanting less of the things that cost Crowns these days. I have plenty of Mounts and Pets, and I don't buy packs anymore.

In earlier days, I'd happily go and buy the latest bundles at Gamestop, or get gift cards for the pets, but now I've reached the point that my annual membership is sufficient for the enjoyment of my Wizarding.

I agree. Bundles and packs were issued less frequently in the earlier days than they are now. KI floods the game with too many and too often now to convince me to buy.

Definitely a double edged sword where new players have the option to buy a lot but old players aren't compelled to get anything new
