      Updates to spell text I would like to see.

      Just some spell text updates I would like to see. I think we are long overdue for this stuff.

      Detonate: Replace "one" with 1. Remove "dealing 100% damage"
      Glacial Shield: Remove "next" and the incoming icon
      Fire Blade: Remove "to next" and "spell"
      Fire Shield: Remove "to next" and "spell"
      Fire Trap: Replace ward icon above text with jinx icon. Remove "to next" and "spell"

      Backdraft: Replace ward icon above text with Jinx icon. Replace "pip" with pip icon. Remove "to next" and "spell"
      Heck Hound: Replace damage icon in text with damage over time icon. Remove "over"

      Steal Charm: Remove "positive"
      Smoke Screen: Replace charm icon above text with curse icon. Replace "to all enemies" with all enemies icon
      Take Power: Replace "minion" with minion icon. Replace "pips" with pip icon

      Fuel: Replace ward icon above text with Jinx icon. Remove "to next 3" and "spells". Add "x3"
      Link: Replace damage icon with damage over time icon. Replace heal icon with heal over time icon. Remove "over" and Replace "rds" with rounds icon
      Wyldfire: Remove outgoing icon
      Choke: Replace "stun" with stun icon. Replace "to all enemies" with all enemies icon. Remove "for" and replace "round" with rounds icon

      Meteor Strike: Replace icon above text with damage icon. Replace "to all enemies" with all enemies icon
      Power Link: Same as Link

      Scald: Replace icon above text with damage icon. Replace damage icon with damage over time icon. Remove "over" and replace "rounds" with rounds icon. Replace "to all enemies" with al enemies icon

      I'm all for changing cards face if there's inconsistencies, but with the ever evolving meta and "icons" being added to replace text versions of the words I think there needs to be a back to all spells to go with, the front can just have the icons and what not as you're suggesting, but I think the back of our spells should have a very clear reading "in text-" of what they do.

      Because sometimes even as someone that's played for a decade, I get confused sometimes, and we'd want to game as accessible as possible. Especially if geared towards children, or the brain fried adults like I that can be slow some times.

      To be honest, there are so many "conflicting" descriptions on the cards", it can make it difficult at best.

      One example are the spells in Beastmoon. They do not use the symbol for AOE (4 enemy heads in red) and only have 1 red enemy face. If your experienced in the game, from trial and error you learn which is which...but new players don't have that luxury.

      It seems like the people who design the way the cards look aren't using the same images, graphics and descriptions causing unnecessary confusion.

      The singular red icon makes sense, I think. The AoE hits are denoted as AoEs due to the yellow circle in the right-hand box, while the effects with the head icon means that it will apply the extra conditional effect to the enemies that you fulfill the condition on. So if you use the Myth Rat's AoE, but only one enemy has a Trap, only that enemy would be stunned. Having the multiple heads icon would say that it stuns the entire enemy team if there's a Trap up.

      2023 spellement spells are just gobbledygook. Make them readable KI. I'm a wiz veteran, played nearly every day for 11 years, even on Holiday abroad. I regularly engage with Central to keep updated. When seasoned players have no clue you know you are not doing your job correctly.

      OK, granted...but look at the explanation you had to give. Is that explained anywhere in the game? How complicated is that for a new player to figure out/understand?? Once again, they make the assumption that everyone playing is a hardcore gamer. They need a consistent, easy to understand system for people to rely on when they use a spell. IF they are going to add or change the symbols, how about letting the rest of the world know about it first??

      This is one reason that, in the case of either Beastmoon event, they need to provide a practice forum (Like PvP) for people to get a hands on chance to see and use the spells before going into alive contest.

      I have to agree with everyone that thinks all the icons are confusing. If they are going to use symbols to replace words, how about putting a legend in the spell book to tell what they all mean. That would be a help to old and new players alike.

      They actually have. If you go into the Help section in the Spellbook, the third icon leads you to the Icon Dictionary which has six whole pages on all of the various icons in the game, including one that I don't think is even used whatsoever (an icon for harmful Afterlifes, right now they're shown with the Afterlife symbol alongside the enemy head symbol, but they have their own unique symbol that doesn't exist outside of the help book.)

      Devs claims they're looking to create an extended spell description where you could hover over the card to read a full in-detail description of its effect (in text). No doubt that would be a huge help, but they've been saying this for almost 3 years so it's probably best not to hold your breath.
