Re: What could Wizard101 learn from other games?
I think Wizard101's Stitching system could do with a redesign inspired by how fashion is handled in the Monster Hunter series.
In Monster Hunter, fashion equipment is not tied to an individual armor piece, but rather a separate section called "Layered Armor." Layered Armor is essentially a second equipment section, where you can equip or unequip gear similarly to your main gear. The difference is that the appearance of Layered Armor always takes priority over what you are using for your stats. Crucially, you can change around your main equipment without it affecting your appearance; Layered Armor is not tied to individual gear, so it would still appear at what you were wearing.
I think this system is far better than what Wizard101 currently has. Right now, if you want to change up your equipment, you have to re-stitch. I know Stitching doesn't cost that much Crowns, but I tend to be stingy with my Crowns and so I'd be really happy with this.

I am fond of Piggles. Heck Hounds look up to us. Fire Cats look down at us. Piggles? They treat us as equals.
