"It’s a fantastic Friday and a fiery conclusion to a great Test Realm week. We just introduced a major new feature on Test Realm, Rate My Stitch, so it’s time for your feedback!

We had a lot of fun designing the Rate My Stitch system and probably even more fun stitching our own outfitts together along the way, but we want to know what YOU think.

What’s your favorite thing about Rate My Stitch so far? What are the things that you’d like to see added or improved? We’re excited to hear your thoughts on all the upcoming content.

Well, I can say that the rating system is off. While, I was on my main storm wizard, one of my friends told me she just saw my wizard and gave her a good rating. However, what she gave me did not match up with the rating under my wizard Rate My Stitch profile. She told me she gave me a 9, but the rating I got was a 7. I maybe it was someone else rating so I asked her to load up on another wizard and give me a 7 this time. It took her some time, and I will express this in a bit, but when she did find me, she gave me a 7, but when I checked I got a 6. So, what other players are giving you will show up lower when you look at your score.

Next, as I had mentioned prior, my friend said that she was seeing the top scoring players first. I did test this out myself and noticed that a majority of wizards that I first saw were in fact those who had the top 20. I know that there were many more people, but this is basically the same issue I see with the rate my castle as well. You will come across those who have better scores first.

My first impression was that this has probably been requested for quite some time, and that there are some players who are very excited to see it. I did like that there is an item identifier, but I was disappointed that too many items were simply described as "Not available at this time" without further explanation, such as the item being retired or in a seasonal pack.

I won't be spending too much time at it, since I don't really care about gear stats or how other players look. I hope that it doesn't become too competitive or create too much jealousy or hard feeling for those who can't afford to buy pack gear and must create their looks from Gold-bought items. I don't know if maybe there should be categories like in Castle Tours, for gold-only or No Retired Items looks? I can see how a character's look could be more personal and important to kids than getting their Castle rated by others.

As long as the stitch tokens aren't extremely hard to obtain, I think it can end up being a cool feature. My only concern is for those who are membership-only -- and who don't necessarily stitch their outfits. I feel like their outfits will inherently receive lower ratings, and in turn make it harder for them to obtain the stitch token reagents. Having a larger quantity of high ratings will disproportionately affect those who don't play the game using crowns. If we want everyone to have a fair shot, like @Willowdreamer mentioned, there either has to be an expansion of the stitching categories to separate the outfits based on acquisition, or we should be able to receive stitch tokens from a secondary method that doesn't require reagents.
