My old quest buddy Zak means a lot to me. We had met up by pure coincidence in Kyrs and we had quested all the way up to the beginning of Polaris together it was quite fun and I hope we cross paths quests again sometime but for now I'm very behind But he'd still greet me anytime I hop on to play!

I'm hoping I can find a screenshot later but I'm not sure we took one together besides mid-combats probably.

Hi! I have been playing Wizard 101 since I was a child and I recently got back online with one of my in person friends . Her name is Jasmine in the game and playing Wizard 101 has benefited our friendship in many ways. It is a nice way to spend quality time with a friend and we even gift each other items from time to time. This game has been a bonding experience and also a helpful stress relief tool due to its nostalgic factor. Friendship means a lot to me because some of my biggest supports are all the friends I love so much! Especially her since I have known her for more than a decade at this point .

A memory I have with her specfically is finally defeating Malistaire with her while we played together in person. It was so exciting especially because it was her first time on her new Life account defeating him. We have grown together so much over the year and i'm glad we have this in common!

I have a friend in Wizard101 named Boris. We first crossed paths a couple of years ago, when I struggled with some personal issues. Boris came to my aid and helped me through those challenging moments. Since then, we have remained friends for about four years, and we both continue to actively play the game. I am grateful that our paths crossed in the spiral, and I feel fortunate to have him as a friend.

My friend is named Kiley. I've been friends with her for at least nine years now. I remember meeting her in Deepwater and doing lots of farming in Tartarus and Darkmoor. Over the years, we haven't always played Wizard101 together or at all, and we don't always talk regularly, but whenever we reunite it's easy to pick things up from right where they last left off; that's something I've always treasured about our friendship. We're both in very different places in our lives than when we first met, but we haven't drifted apart- we've gotten closer.

I always enjoy our conversations because we have different perspectives of the world. I'm always interested in hearing her opinion about different things and the experiences that inform those opinions. We occasionally disagree, of course, but the nice thing is that we both respect each other enough that we can peacefully disagree and even talk about our differences. We can talk about anything with each other, even topics many people would rather avoid for fear of causing controversy; I value the trust and respect we share for one another that allows us to talk freely.

There have been few people in my life I can so wholeheartedly trust, and I appreciate Kiley for being one of those special people.

about 12 years ago . This was about 6 months to a year i was playing regularly on W101 I met this young woman who wizard was Tatiana Moonheart. She needed help in the game both to fight the hard bosses as well as what to do in the game. At one point she thought i was either a dev or had connections with them. i did help her out on my death wizard. She felt kinda guilty after a certain point because she couldn't help me. But while she was still playing the game she did help other people. A few people were nasty with her because of the skin color she choose in the game. I told her to report them for that. After a certain point she couldn't cope she started to report like crazy as the harassment was too great. Customer service told her to stop. i helped her get through it. She then moved on to other games and i never heard from her again. I keep her wizzie on my friends list even though i will never hear from her again.

I've had many good friends over the years in Wizard101, first starting with my original friend group Caroline RavenThief, Blaze StormGem, and Matthew DeathWielder, which then quickly expanded to Emily StarCaster and Maria Moonblossom, and so, so many others. These were my precious friends that were with me from the very beginning in 2009 - 2011, and then life kind of took over and a lot of them have now moved on.

I think of friendship as something that comes in waves that ebbs and flows, some will stay with us long term but others will come and go. I think what's most important to focus on is the happiness and joy they brought when they were here with us. Those memories will forever stay with me for as long as I'm around, and are so bittersweet.

I'm very grateful to now have a guild with a community of friends and relationships I haven't had in many years, and I'm so grateful to all of them: Michael SeaWraith, Elizabeth TrollBreath, Tasha, Alric, Corbin, David DeathCoin, Mark, John, Eric, Lucy, Star/Stephanie, sooo many Blazes (lol) to name just a small few out of the 40 that have stuck with us.

And I couldn't possibly forget the many friends I've made here on Central, it's been wonderful getting to know @sunshine13 and being blessed with help from @Caspeen and @Hollywood. And I very much so enjoy seeing @Pegasus Unbound posts and @AluraMist updates; thank you all for continuing to make this forum the place we know and love.

Hi, my in game name is Blake, and my friends name is Kyle Fireblade, he is a real life friend of mine since the third grade, however it took many years of convincing to get him to play the game. He was always convinced a card game for kids could never be as fun as his precious call of duty, but now years later, he is the one who messages me all the time to come online and tells me how much fun he is having questing through the worlds even though he only has a triple healing pet. I think our friendship is very quircky/comical, always a bunch of lighthearted banter, it is comforting knowing no matter where life takes you, that you have a friend who plays a common game that you can both have a great time playing. Some of our most memorable moments took place racing pet derby back in the day for fun, it was a great time. Sadly we have no pictures together in game but I will definitely message him and get one!

My in game name is Cheryl. I want to give a shoutout to my first best friend I met in game, Tarlac DarkLeaf. I believe we met in 2009. He was soooo fun to hangout with. He was hilarious and made the game even more fun for me. Without him, I probably wouldn't have wanted to log in as much as I did back then and still wouldn't be playing today lol. Unfortunately I think he stopped logging in around maybe 2011 and I haven't seen him since. He had a great impact on my life though, seeing as I still remember him today.

When I went through the phase of deleting all my characters to start fresh with a new name and school, I still kept the death wizard we were friends on, just in case he ever logs back in.

This picture is from sometime between 2010-2011. The picture also reminded me of when it was still possible to add and favourite your own character lol.

Hello, my main wizard name is Antonio Darkblade. I played since late July 2009 thanks to my 2nd older sister. I became friends with Austin Shadowsword in 2013 back when people go to other people's houses doing PVP, Castle games, parties, Pagoda, Winterbane. We did Winterbane together and just clicked. I met his sister in-game. We are close age wise. Sometimes play PVP, Wiz on and off when I still played TTO (Toontown Online) and then TTR (Toontown Rewritten). We hanged out at our mutual friend's house named Miguel. I actually kept touch using Kik then years later, I have him on text message and discord in case when we want to update on life, etc. Both of us live in the state of California so already shared commonalities there. We talked about college too. Late December I caught him online he wanted my help fighting Morg in LM, which motivated me getting the $5 membership deal playing together like old times. Such a nice, cool guy. It felt nice staying in contact knowing he is doing well for himself. Thank you Victoria hosting this contest! Picture of Antonio:

How wonderful are your stories, I must say! Reading them, I was really impressed, and I am sure all those who didn't participate but took the time to visit our thread here and read your posts, they certainly enjoyed them, too.

The idea of the event was to celebrate Friendship, in general, and I am very glad it had the effect of another "reminder" how important friends are to us, as Iridescenci perfectly noted:
