Novus, where is the gear?

I finished questing, completed all but one side boss, and got 0 level 160 gear for my troubles.

So does anyone know who drops what?

I've made it (what I'm assuming is) near the end of the second area (I'm level 152 if that gives you a sense of where I'm at). I'm still in the phase of posting where I don't want to give out any spoilers for most things regarding Novus but I can spoil this: I have also barely gotten any dropped gear or jewels. All of my mob fights to my recollection have only dropped: TC, Gold, and Music (not as many music as Polaris, just one or two). I got a level 150 balance deck from one Side Boss (and one "rare" reagent). I was also thinking about making a thread about this specific topic as well but I decided I would spend more time questing before I made any quick conclusions.

But yeah, what's up with that?

I understand that most dropped gear unless it's no auction often goes straight into the Bazaar for the majority of players but I never heard anybody of saying that they don't appreciate that it drops. Sure I didn't really use any of the level 140-148 gear in Lemuria back when that released but I've seen countless times of other players who are temporarily using that gear to have decent stats until they transition to the No Auction variants of max level gear. I'm not completely sure level 150-158 gear is available, though I would expect it is, I really think increasing the drop rate of gear is still worth the trouble of making for those that don't want to go through the trouble of farming for the best level 150 gear (merciless)- talking about those that are still finishing previous worlds in their mission to get to Novus. I really hope this is patched.

Might I add, please make it so that each mob fight drops at least 5000 gold lol For goodness sakes, this is the THE 18TH WORLD, have some decency lol

This is the drops I've been able to confirm:

The final boss, the aeon-? thingy, drops:

• Hat
• Robes
• Wand

Maxine Rockhoppierre, the Beloved-Citezen-Equal-to-Us-All-But-Still-Supreme-In-Her-Own-Way drops:

• Boots

The Dasein Duelist manifesting as the dreaded Turtle King drops:

• Ring
• Amulet

The Monquistan leader, Don Manzana, drops:

• Decks

I haven't found the athames yet.

Bosses only drop the Aeon and Masterpiece gear sets, the Eternal gear is only available through crafting.

I've been told the Dasein Duelist is the one who drop Outgoing Healing pins, if that's to your interest. So far no one I know has gotten one from the other bosses but naturally verifying that a boss doesn't drop something is a lot harder than confirming what they do drop.

I've only made it up to the area with the banana spiders and thus far have got nothing much more than music scrolls and gold.

It looks like only bosses drop gear in this world. I'm still questing through it but I did see that RenTenTen drops the 160 athames. He's a boss located in La Ville Rose from a side quest given by Lassie in New Vicorgia.
