      Spellement Crafting

Works similar to how crafting the Beastmoon Spellements work, where every crafting recipe nets you 5 of those Spellements. But I was thinking, take 1 Amber, 1 TC of the spell you want Spellements of, and maybe a tiny bit of some other insignificant ingredient like Sapphires for Ice Spellements, and voila! This keeps Amber highly valuable while also letting players hone in on what specific spells that want to upgrade.

This could be a bit awkward with some spells whose TCs are also very rare to find such as Rat Spin, but ideally they would be droppable from somewhere that doesn't need a Gold Key. This is meant to be an alternative way of getting Spellements, after all.

      Re: Spellement Crafting

I feel like in this scenario, every single Lore Spell TC (and I'm talking about the super common ones nobody cares about like Wintermoon and Samoorai) will become incredibly rare, like nearly nonexistent in the bazaar. Everybody and their mother would be eyeing for a chance to maximize their Lore Spells without needing to farm for Spellements and Gold Keys, getting any of Lore Spell TC they can find and even going as far as tricking unknowing players.

But at the same time, I do appreciate any new way to get Spellements just because it gives those who don't have the opportunity to join Spellement farming (maybe they don't have a max or the time to farm the Key Bosses) a chance at upgrading their spells.

I think this would be great with caveats:

      1. Increasing Amber drops from bosses. Not everybody can afford to maintain a King Parsley plot AND other plants (considering that King Parsley doesn't drop any Mega Snacks) and thus Amber will be difficult to obtain. Even with Amber being auctionable, it's still going to be as rare and "botted" as Stone Blocks in the Bazaar and thus won't be an adequate resource for casual players. Not to mention, King Parsley itself doesn't drop Amber frequently, it's a minimal chance for each plant (I only get something like 4-5 Ambers per ~60 plot harvest) and this should be increased.

      2. Increase Lore Spell TC drops. Eventually the only way to easily get the TC players need to craft Spellements is to get it themselves. Getting it by drop is the simpliest way to do this without pulling strings or getting lucky in the bazaar.

      Dylan,

I am under the assumption that all of the Lore spells are actually trial type spells thar are reused/repackaged later on as we get new worlds added to the Spiral.

Regardless, I make sure all my wizards get their spell cards, but I don't utilize singe attacks for any reason at all. If I could dump the unused spells I would, but that is not possible at the moment.

I think these could be both addressed in one fell swoop by updating Sword Ferns. They're a gardening source of every Lore TC that existed at the time of its released, but lacks any TCs of Lore spells added since its release. It could also be updated to be a reseedable source of Amber, which would make them very good at this specific thing. King Parsleys probably won't get outclassed if this happens since you can get UKPs which drop Amber left and right.
(Also, I've seen people suggest that they add new plants that directly drop Spellments, which would be pretty great as well. I'd still like a crafting option since it gives you more control over what exactly you get, but a gardening source would be very relaxing.)

I vote they create a "spell-a-mint" plant! What about a Pepper-ment, or Spear-ment, Double-ment, LOL, so many possibilities. While they are at it, the could upgrade the jewel seeds as well.
