Castle Tours - Gauntlet Style issues

I am working on decorating the Creepy Fairgrounds Castle, and tried adding it to the Castle Tours.
When added, the only option I had was the Gauntlet style. I have only one gauntlet there. Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand on which criteria this automatic choice is made, when the house has a combination of items, which may be called at least "crazy", if not seasonal (I have there items for a school, a theatre, and some pets/mounts - almost all Hallowe'en themed).
I would gladly avoid this type of Castle in the Tours, if that was possible, since it appears useless to me. One can not use the Gauntlets when visiting a house from the Headquarters. It looks a bit like a show-off to me, kind of a: "Hi, guys, here is how many gauntlets I own, but (eek!) you are not using them." ?
When I bought the gauntlets, I was glad my friends would be able to use them, but they can't without me present in the house.

Bottom line - questions:
1. Is there any known way in which the selection of the Castle Type can be influenced? What do I need to add to a Castle to make it Seasonal, for instance?
2. Since this style exists on the list, would it be possible to make the permanent Gauntlets in a Castle be usable by visitors at least once in a while? Let's say, once in a week per character in a random visited house (just an idea), similar to how the Daily Assignments work once per day. I find this would be appreciated and would raise interest in using more the CT Headquarters among Wizards.

Even a single housing instance will automatically assign the castle into the Gauntlet category.

I think, though, that if you remove the Gauntlet, add the Castle to whichever other category you like, then you can go back and add the Gauntlet to the Castle after it's listed. I've seen castles that have been emptied after being added to Castle Tours.

Thanks for explaining why there was suddenly a forced, no-option housing category. I didn't make the connection at all, because the one castle of mine that was no longer given a choice when added to Castle Tours contains a Shinobi Dojo. Not exactly a gauntlet. It was confusing.

The other one that is automatically assigned is any Dorm-type housing, such as the various Mirage dorms, Arcanum and Wizard City Apartments, etc.

Again, thanks for answering one of my questions, Willowdreamer, I didn't know that before. My Great Clock gauntlet, there, fills in perfectly an empty space, and I like it as a decoration detail in the scenery, but will have to remove it, in this case.

The second one, maybe, I should have posted in the Wizard101 Feedback Forum? Regarding the possibility that the visitors would be able to use the gauntlets from the Castle Tours once in a specific time, hope it is not a completely unrealistic thought.
