Can not change zones

This issue has been happening the past couple of days. I've been communicating with @Sparck every so often with reports of this issue. Each time, the issue is resolved but then comes back 6 hours later. And it appears they get worse as they come back.

On Day 1: Realms randomly being "closed". Some server lag -- These were "resolved"
On Day 2: Realm closing, more server lag, and full on website/game crashing -- These were "resolved"
Today: Same issues as Day 2. Although I believe the crashing occurred twice?

Something is going wrong up there at KI. I'm not sure if it's their servers specifically or perhaps one of their service providers.

I'm wondering now that I'm thinking about it if perhaps it might be due to the extreme heat and how their energy grid has been pushed to the max down in TX. I know I had heard from a friend near Houston its been real bad and with the use of so many A/C s they've been worried.

Wowzers, seems like the dye shop is closed right now in Bartleby realm. Tried entering it three times with no luck. Had to relog once. Other people are having trouble entering it right now too. It works fine in Bernie.

A patch should be going live within the next hour or so to fix these problems. -- via KI Alerts:

"Wizard101 game servers will be under maintenance on August 15 at 2am CT for about an hour to resolve some connectivity and zone access issues."

If you continue to have problems after the 2 AM patch, it is best to contact KI customer support.

Interesting, I assumed it was down to bring test to live. Then again, they have to reboot the servers to do that, so perhaps it is both?

Too bad it is too late for the myth deckathlon, I lost several tokens getting stuck between floors. As for test, I do not care if it ever goes live honestly, there is nothing there for me except more disenfranchisement.
