The final countdown to Thanksgiving has begun and recent events had me thinking about some very important things.

Central has gone from being an infant website to a teenager, and the recent events has welcomed it into young adulthood.

We have lost some very special people recently and the outpouring of love for the loss of @Lady Cat and the support of her surviving family has really been a wake up call for everyone.

Thanksgiving has many different meanings, as many meanings as there are people; but in each and every case it is a time to reflect and be thankful of the different things in our lives.

I think back over the many years I have been with Central and all the very special friends I have made that are more family than just friends.

There have been good and bad times, which is to be expected; Without the bad times, you can't truly appreciate the good ones.

I just wanted to thank all of you my dear friends in this wonderful place; it would take a long time to list all the people here that I love and there is a special handful that know who they are without me trying to list them all. I will carry all my precious memories of each and every one of you.

With all that has happened in just the last week or so with the loss of @Lady Cat, @MzDreamfire loosing her husband of 40 years and so many other things; I realize how truly blessed I am.

This is our chance to start this season of being thankful by sharing our love for each other as a special family and the many things we share in our love of W101.

Lets make this chance start now and have it etched in written memory and in each others hearts by sharing our respective feelings for this home away from home that we call Central. Please, open up and share your own stories so we can all benefit from that very special love and thankfulness.
