What a nice concept.
I just picked strawberries with my family a couple days ago and today is the day I make strawberry shortcake with them. Good food is always a happy thing!Deckathalon fan, PVE master. If you have a question about a boss I probably know it.

I'll be honest, the happy memories when I was a child are few and far between; BUT one of the happiest memories I have are from when I was very young.
My Dad would save and prepare for his annual summer event. He would invite friends and family to a special BBQ pot luck that was all designed around...
An old fashioned Ice Cream Social. He had a very old recipe from his Mother (My Grandmother was born in 1900 in Kansas) for Vanilla ice cream and he would set up 3 or 4 old fashioned, hand crank machines.
There was food, music and lots of love shared as we took turns cranking the makers. The anticipation of the fresh ice cream was almost unbearable; UNTIL we got to eat the rewards with all our friends and family. Needless to say, at the end of the day all the food was gone, especially the ice cream. The very best part was getting to lick the ice cream paddle clean.
Kids, family, friends, food and fresh made ice cream...truly a happy memory!
