      Re: Housing Ideas.

There is a lot to learn when you're brand new, but one thing to keep in mind is that there is no strict right or wrong when it comes to decorating; how you decorate is uniquely your choice. So, don't worry too much about finding something perfect, instead look for items you think would look cool in your house, buy a few, and place them around to see where they'd look good. If you find yourself thinking "this would look better a little to the right, or maybe sunk down a little bit" then you can start trying out Advanced Movement (a system which gives you finer control over housing items placement), and if you think "this item would look really cool if it were gigantic!" Or "it would be neat if a certain spell appeared when I walked up to this spot" then you can play around with Castle Magic (a system which lets you alter the state of items and add interactivity to your homes). You can certainly dive really deep into decorating, but don't overwhelm yourself right away when there's so much to learn. Start with what makes sense to you. Then as your ideas expand, you can research/problem solve and learn how to realize them.

      Re: Housing Ideas.

The way I do housing is really based off of symmetry and object placement.

      Here's the steps I do:

So I would usually buy an even amount of the same housing item that I like.

Put down the housing item on the floor (Or buy a Wooden Wall from the Castle Blocks section of the wall, then hanging up the item you like to move about off the wall).

Then I go to advanced movement immediately, then I switch to the X, Y, Z because it has numerical coordinates for where the item is in the house.

Then I turn the intensity bar thing all the down (it's the vertical bar to the right of the X, Y, Z) and I move the item to the exact location you want the item to be. You can turn the intensity bar thing all the way up to get a specific numerical number.

Then I place the second object down and repeat the previous steps. In order for there to be symmetry, either the Z will have to be the same as the previous item you put down. Either the X will have to be the same numerical number or the Y has to be the same numerical number based on how you want to position the object. The opposing axis number can be what ever you like depending on what distance you want the space between each object is.

Then you might want to change Rotation, which is where the geometry comes in. It's usually pretty easy since the object is automatically placed on 0. If you want the item to turn around, just go to the end of the horizontal bar in either side. If you want the item switch directions, add 90. If you want a diagonal, add or minus 45. It's pretty self-explanatory from there.

This works a lot easier when the house itself is somewhat symmetrical in each side like the inside/outside of the Celestian Observatory. It takes a lot of geometry and I'm like 1% of a math person (To the point I've only taken 1 class of math in my entire 4 years of college and barely passed... mostly because the professor was terrible). But it's trial and error, so with practice, you can get the hang of it.

      That's how I do housing.

I recommend going through the most popular houses in Castle Tours for inspiration, and checking out @SKyFuria's housing albums here on Central!
