You can still enchant Rat Spin + Pigsie. Even with TC. The only thing you can't do is keep the enchanted TC for later use. So you can put Gargantuan TC into your deck and enchant your Rat Spins that way.

When checking things just to be extra sure, I found out that if you don't use the enchanted TC, you get the enchantment TC back. It only works on spells with Spellement trees, obviously, but it's still a nice surprise.

I'm aware that you can't keep these spells as enchanted, but it just doesn't make sense why this is. I'm guessing that the Devs originally thought enchanting Spellementally upgraded spells would be OP in PvP, but in the context of enchants are banned and the drop-rates are so insanely low that nobody will be upgrading these spells this decision should be reevaluated.

Being able to pre-enchant hits is a valuable tool for questing Wizards, since whenever you pull from your sideboard you'll always get a hit you need. Why KingsIsle decided to take that away from us simply makes no sense!

      I agree.

Quite possible KI wants more Life Wizards playing Spellement.

I did point out in my original post "that I am unable to have the enhanced Ratatoskr's Spin card rest in my side deck". I've been known to make some major oops too!

Their logic must go something like this:

Let's introduce Skeleton Key Bundles that Players will pay for, and then nerf the enchanting of Rat Spin so that Players will be forced to upgrade it to reclaim some of that lost power! And because the drop-rates at King Borring are unhealthily low, our money-makers-- I mean kids-- will pay for Skeleton Keys! It's diabolical!

And the plot thickens like year old oatmeal. Perhaps this is another case for our KIFBI Chief Investigator!

"Mon amie", the case she has been solved. It was KI's loves for year old oatmeal to stick it to their customers. (Just Joking).

      Re: Enhanced Rat

Sigh.. Now all my accuracy enchanted pigsie tc are "limited" edition... I've used a few and still have like 20 left.

They were a cheap way to pull sideboard pigsies for better deck setup, but now I'll eventually run out of "free" pigsie tc. Then I'l have to buy expensive pigsie from gtp if I want sideboard pigsie!! Jk, pigsie tc are actually quite cheap.

Then again, unicorn tc got buffed, so, I guess that's my alternative now.

I was expecting them to be enchanted with primordial or something like that, why do you add accuracy to an 85% card, since there are so many universal accuracy items and pets available? Or is it to add the pierce so that you pass through life resists?

On the subject of why pre-enchants have been removed,

      http://www.wizard101central.com/foru...41#post5628141

I do remember a message somewhere on the main forum from one of the professors back in 2011, explaining to a player complaining they "lost" their enchanting TC that it had actually been transformed into an attack TC and would remain in the deck if fizzled.

And I think back then they only meant it to be a safeguard in case of fizzles, that was abused over the years.

Well, half a year ago I had been farming Gladiator for Amber to craft Ratspin tc, and so the accuracy enchantments (keen eyes, etc.) helped me to not fizzle since I didn't have max gear. But mainly I was trying to create "free" accessible tc in order to pull from the sideboard so that I could have a cleaner deck and pull pigsie from sideboard when I needed it immediately.

Frankly, tc pre-enchanted damage spells are incredibly powerful since it streamlines one's main deck, and serves as an emergency pull if the enemy survives with something like weakness or tower shield. It's actually quite a good mechanic in wiz, but I guess it was too good. A pre-enchanted card is basically 2 cards, but occupying the space of one.
