      "A Gardening Update?" -- Ideas?

      I saw this post on the Wizard101 website and I thought that some of our Gardening enthusiasts might have some ideas too:

      Gardening Update!

      "To my fellow Gardeners out there and Lovely Developers/Sparck!

      I would really like to see some improvements in Gardening:

      An "updated" Plow All spell - but in the form of a halo to select the area to plow (Just like Pest Spells) because right now it plows every empty plot you have in your house and you really don't want this to happen.

      A Harvest All Spell - Can be controversial as it would alter backpack space if used accidentally, but since it's a spell, you can prepare in advance to have free space in your backpack/bank and then use the spell, or KI codes it to limit the harvest to your backpack limit)

      I'd like the Animation for casting a spell to be shortened (Not really needed, but could be nice cause not having Plant All at low level is annoying)

      This one idea was from a friend, shoutout to Ross - What about soils and plants to stop counting as housing item space when they are not as they take a lot of housing space!

      What do you think about those? There was recently a Housing Rountable. An eventual Gardening Roundtable would be nice

      Honestly out of any aspect of the game, gardening is actually pretty decent and refined for me. It's pretty simple and these updates are certainly on the positive side. Nice.

      Make Supreme Sunburst, Flood, Zounds Bees, Uncanny Magic and Flute Symphony trainable or at the very least give a USABLE crafting spell to make our own, at the very, very least give us a USABLE TC crafting spell to make the TC's.

      How about some of the bug prevention spells in an "overall" type card? I'd like to be able to cast Dragonflies over all my plants.

      How about a few new seeds? How a new seed per world? It would be nice to know a new seed will come out for every new world. Imagine the Karamelle seed.

      I love these ideas. I think from my own experience, I would love for one particular issue to be looked into and fixed:

      It works for some, but not for all. If i cast any over 24 or 48 hour spell, and then try to layer another with it, one gets cancelled out. It would be awesome to be able to layer these spells.

      Can we buy Beastmoon planters PLEASE!

      It would be great to see craftable garden tcs. It would give me a reason to craft and put those single plant tc spells to some good use.

      In addition to the above ideas, I would like to see us be able to group our spells for a one hit to the gardens. For example, I have 2 gardens of Alligator Pear Trees, so I hit each with pest spell 2, then cast supreme sunburst, flood, and flute symphony. It would be awesome to group all those spells into one hit.

      New plants would be a great item like King Nothing said. That's been on my wish list for years now. I've mostly given up hope that any improvements or fixes will be added for gardening.

      Pegaus Unbound, I've never had trouble with the 48 hour spells cancelling each other out. Typically the visible one is the pest spell prevention, but the others are in place in my experience. When you hover over your plants, they don't show as active?

      when you multi-cast 2-days spells they overlap, they aren't canceled, it's just that one animation replace the other.

      If you look at your plants after your casts, you will see "protection: XX" repeated on several lines in the list, one per spell you cast. But only the last spell you cast will be visible as an animation.

      I think that's to prevent multi-layered animations to fill the screen, Imagine having bees, music, anti-pests and sun all on a patch.. it would be really messy animation- Wise.

      I would really like it if they would reduce the lag after casting large/all plant spells. I heard that if you first cast a single plant spell before using a large spell, there's much less lag. I shouldn't have to do all that just so I wouldn't have to wait a long time while gardening (sometimes to the point where it's better to just relog instead of waiting).

      I do think there should a "Revive All" type of spell too even if it takes up a massive amount of Energy (x</=130 energy to not prevent this spell from being used by those without energy gear)

      Gardening is in dire need of an accessibility update. For a system of the game that is required to advance through the Wiz tech tree, it is incredibly difficult for newer, younger, and less experienced Players to use! Couch Potato seeds, the stacking of gardens, locking gardening spells behind storyline quests- these are all things that serve to widen the Player/Pro gap, which in turn affects Player retention.

      Call me crazy, but I believe that Couch Potato seeds should be readily available, the Red Barn Farm should come with pre-stacked plots, and gardening spells shouldn't be quest locked.
