      Cool Beastmoon Suggestions

The Beastmoon events are fun, and have a huge potential to be great. There are some issues that I think can be tweaked and adjusted to make it amazingly fun.

With this in mind, I want to start this special thread for people to post their suggestions and observations as well as tips for the other players.
@Sparck, I would like to ask if you can keep an extra eye on this thread to forward the ideas to the developers, Thank you in advance.

To start, I would like to point out that the game is really time based, especially Monster Mayhem. The length of time for the spells to do their graphics is actually a fairly big issue. Maybe some of the graphics can be adjusted time wise?

TIP: These events are seriously a TEAM event. Working as a team means communicating to each other, not giving orders , panicking or wasting time complaining. Sometimes things happen, and a good team will adapt and win.

May the beast be with you

      Re: Beastmoon Suggestions

I think the biggest advice I would give is that it's important to realize that there is more than one strategy to these events.
Some people don't mind taking strategic losses while others take strategic gambles.
I have seem people get mad that others don't join a 1v3 because they see rhat as a strategic loss worth taking while others may get mad that others do join that circle and may cost the team more points or time if they lose.
Yes, help others, give ideas and suggestions, but understand that others are not always going to make the same decisions that you would.
We don't always have to see rage from others as a bad thing either, it adds spice sometimes and it can be fun for others to banter with the person who may be mad or may just be acting out to bring entertainment.
If you find yourself getting mad because someone isn't playing how you want, breathe. It's okay. You likely are not playing how they want either.
Remember, at the end of the day, some teams are going to have amazing chemistry and just have strategies that mesh amazingly while other teams just don't, and that is okay.
It's a game and it's there for fun and enjoyment.
Some of the worst teams I have been on have been the most fun for me because with the right, or even the wrong team, and perspective, even losing can also be awesome.

I agree, I have been on some bad teams, but the mix was good and it was even more fun.

      Question Re: Beastmoon Suggestions

      Interesting issue:

Just had a great team, and we beat wave 3!

Checked my badge page and found this:

I now show a potential badge for 0/1 and a new one of 0/10. If I got the 0/10, then shouldn't the 0/1 be an actual 1/1 badge?
@spark, what do you think? Is this a glitch?

the mayhem counter for wins has been broken for the last 4 or 5 events stuck at 69/100

send ppl who counter the mobs to there best rings
support forms matter a lot here bal fairy can give 3 pips this can let storm wolf do his 200/325 damage aoe

I disagree. I think it's better to have an skilled player telling others what to do. That doesn't mean micromanage every card you pick, but I'd 100% prefer someone coordinating strategy over everyone running around doing their own thing. Just the simple things like "split into groups of 2" "ok for this wave we split into 3s" "you should flee and go to outside, we need a replacement here" "kill the weakest mob first" that kind of stuff.

      Update:

Just finished another 3rd wave, and this is what I now have:

@Sparck, I hate to be an irritant; but I think this needs to be fixed.

I agree 100%, that's why I mentioned the importance of Team Communication. Sadly, there are some who don't guide the team, but try to boss and command.

I've been saying this since before there was a mayhem event, but its even more critical there. We need a way to communicate with players who don't have text chat besides the very limited choices in menu chat.

      Re: Beastmoon Suggestions

It's not uncommon for players to end up with 3-5 DoT effects on them when fighting against Fire monsters or bosses. Having each individual DoT effect do damage one at a time 3-5 times per player eats up way too much valuable time in a game mode where every second counts. DoTs (and HoTs) should do their damage and healing all at once instead of one at a time.

Also, some spell animations still need to be faster. Fire Giant in particular is one I have an issue with. Just have it play the animation once and then apply the DoT and debuff to all players/enemies instead of having the attack animation play for each target.

Thanks, this is a perfect set of examples of what I was talking about earlier. The amount of precious time they eat up is amazing
