Pet Showcase (Pet Storage) and Pet Space Expansion Elixirs

Dear KI,

First, I just wanted to share that I absolutely love the Pet Tome feature as it makes Spiral life just a bit more wonderful!

Along with the Pet Tome, I thought that it would be awesome if a Pet Showcase (Pet Storage) housing item could be added to the game, that players can obtain by crafting or purchasing from the crown shop.

I also think it would be outstanding if the Pet Showcase would work in conjunction with the Pet Tome.

My thoughts on how the Pet Showcase would look/work:

Appearance:

• Glass cubbyhole shelving to display each type of pet (like in a pet shop).

Functions/Features:

• Display each beautiful pet stored in individual cubbyholes.
• Automatically group pets when placed inside the showcase (like how it groups particular pets in the attic). So if you add more than one of the same type of pet, only 1 will continue to display in each cubbyhole/case (with a pet count displayed one of the cubbyhole's corners).
• Option to select which pet is displayed (like an album cover/cover pet) if more than 1 of the same pet is stored.
• Display pet information (on mouse over): Stats, talents, etc. (like how it shows when you view another player's pet).
• Podium with a Pet Tome consisting the pets contained/displayed within the Pet Showcase.

Along with a Pet Showcase, it would also be awesome to have the option of a Pet Space Expansion Elixir added to the crown shop!I think it would be truly amazing and so very helpful in many ways, to many Wizard101 patrons including myself, who have been enjoying and collecting/accumulating thousands of pets over the many wonderful years in the Spiral!

I really hope and look forward to seeing something like this added to the game in the future!

Love your ideas but I'm a bit...luke warm...on the elixir idea only because, like housing elixirs, it can be a very expensive habit to maintain.

But I have another suggestion - I'm always a huge fan of rewarding those who DO stuff, not those who can BUY stuff. So what if additional pet space was given based upon what pet badge you have earned? Collected the 100 different pet badge - no bonus for you! 200 different pets? +2 for EACH HOUSE you have. 500 pets? +5 pets per house. Or something like that. Clearly if you have put that much effort into collecting pets then I think you've already earned a bump - you shouldn't have to buy anything. And I feel that buying extra space once again rewards those with the deep pockets instead of those who have put in considerable time and effort.

I also love the idea of a Kennel being a like a pet vault, but that is another idea that I feel should be improved upon. What if instead of vaults being an extra "bank" they were something you could walk into and see! Your clothing vault could have all your robes on hangers, and hats on a hat rack, and shoes on shelves. Your seed vault would have seeds "planted" but not really planted. And your Jewel vault would be rows and rows of shiny, sparkling jewels! And of course, your pet vault - or Kennel - would be as you described with all your pets on display.

I absolutely love your ideas on the item vaults! You should definitely submit it for in game ideas!

As far as the option to purchase pet expansion elixirs, or however additional pet space is implemented, I think the option should remain open to all. I don't discriminate against any fellow Wizard101 patrons, no matter their class or how deep their pockets are. Additionally, not everyone has loads of time to dedicate to gameplay.

After all, if no one paid to play (as with any other form of entertainment in life), Wizard101 would have never came this far. Just my personal opinion.

Who knows?! Maybe we'll have this, or something similar implemented in-game in the future!

If this were possible, maybe develop a "Lend a Pet" feature. Players that visit a specific house could see what talents of the pets displayed in the Pet Showcase and ask permission of the owner of the house if he/she could lend that pet to that specific player for a set period of time.

Perhaps it can be like "Press X" to take a closer look to the pet display (perhaps a Pet Showcase Elixir to expand how many pets you could display and lend to visitors interested in hatching with that pet) and from that closer look, you can move around your mouse to each pet. Each pet can be clicked on to show the pet's talents, item card, adjustments, where to get the pet, and ask for a lend. The owner of the pet showcase could check if players asked for a lend and grant them with yes or no. Then the visiting player's chat will be updated "(House Owner's name) has lent you (Pet's name), the (Pet type) for a duration of X days. Happy hatching!". And each time the visiting player hatches with that lent pet, the owner receives a pepper.

You could probably flesh this feature more lol

I love your ideas and I'm glad that you mentioned pet lending, because I was thinking more of having a personal "Hatch Making Kiosk" housing item.

Please dont laugh... but I went out my way to craft the "Hatch Making Kiosk" with the recipe given by Doctor Purreau in the Hatchery, placed it in my house thinking that I could put my own pets in it, only to find that it was "linked" to the Hatch Making Kiosk in the Pet Pavilion! Lol!

I think it would be awesome if the crafted version of the Hatch Making Kiosk functioned as a personal housing item, that is linked to the pets within the Pet Showcase!
