My impossible luck with pet hatching

Long story short, I tried hatching my archfiend with a ghulture 13 times and I got my archfiend every single time. I wanted at least one ghulture, and I got none after 13 hatches.

All of those hatches depleted all my gold on every character and my crowns are now gone form using the hatching elixir.

Am I doing something wrong or is my luck just atrocious? Could someone tell me what is going on

For reference. my Archfiend pedigree is 61 and the ghulture was 68

Am sorry that you're having such bad lick.

My current record is 23 for a particular pet, so no you are not doing anything wrong. You could try another pet if you are not interested in the talents, but there is no guarantee that will work either.

Don't stress, take your time collecting gold and when you're ready try again.

I'd suggest you try a different pet ghulture and/or a different archfiend, until you get the body, then mix it with the ghulture you want until you get the talents on it, then hatch with your archfiend.

It's long, but better chances at getting the ghulture with the archfiend talents.

What were the pedigrees of the pets used? Did you raise and use the new hatched archfiend on each subsequent hatch? I'm curious to know if the pedigree of the archfiend is significantly higher than the ghulture.

My archfiend has a pedigree of 61 and the ghulture had 68. Should I be raising the new pet even if it's an archfiend and then hatch again with the ghulture?

Sorry for your bad luck.

Some pets are stickier then others and it sounds like you got a very sticky pet. Meaning, it will be harder to get another body type.

So as suggest try to hatch with another pet other then that archfiend.

Next, another part in why it might be happening is that the pedigree is very close. I have been working on getting other body types for a while now and I do have a very high success rate in getting the body types I like. One thing I found is that you want to make sure there is at least 10 pedigree level difference. So my pedigree will be 10 levels higher then the body type I am going for.

Next thing I make sure is that they are not the same school. I have notice that opposite schools seems to work the best. So if I am trying to go for a life body type, I will use a death. This theory I am still testing out, as for now, it seems to be helping.

If you're using the kiosk these methods are working really well. Self hatching is a different story. I find its how you click with what pet. There is 4 possible ways to go about this and usually one of the 4 ways will work.

Also, another way that I found when self hatching for body types is if you get the wrong body type back, raise it to adult only and hatch again. This has worked for me about 90% of the time. If you don't get the right body type back then change what pets you have on.

As for being out of gold, this is an easy fix. You can farm Asrik in wintertusk. if you have it open. This is where most hatchers will go to get quick gold. He drops an amulet called Dragon Shield Amulet that sells for 12,000 (almost) plus other drops, they add up quickly. Look for team up there as well.

As for elixirs, if you don't know already, you can get more with hatching pepper from the kiosk. They are earned by your pets being used while they are in the kiosk.

I never had any issues with hatching more than 6-7 times which in my opinion is already troublesome and cost lots of gold.
