      I also tried pre-enchanting with Unstoppable. This too does not work as before. Presently is appears and Spells in the Spellement system will no longer be pre-enchantable for use in a later battle.

      It痴 upsetting as treasure cards aren稚 the problem and never have been. What the core issues are is the ability to have immunity resist, insane pierce, shadow shrike/hits. Treasure cards and the ability to make them is accessible for EVERYONE. @Sparck please tell us this is a mistake. Nowhere in the game or spellment page does it say we lose the ability to pre-enchant cards. We shouldn稚 get punished for spell improvement

      To be honest, TC enchanting is better than getting 75 spellements via grinding Loremaster to boost damage by only 5-10 damage while you can boost damage up to 300 with sun school enchants.
      I did spellements only to the 35 baseline to learn the spell (like Reindeer Knight) and then in battle I use my sun school enchants to boost damage. I wouldn't see the need to grind for so many spellements for such little improvement in the spells

      My opinion is on hold until further PvP updates. There has been some discussions on Twitter about how the spellwrighting/enchanting situation will affect the game and ways to deal with this issue - it seems devs are considering an alternative system to quick draw cards or something similar to alleviate the situation.

      Right now this whole thing isn't a big deal - it's just two spells - the community's real uneasy concerns the implications of spellwrighting moving forward to include most spells, which apparently it intends to do.

      But given how KI is now aware of how much we love our enchanted TC's, I feel we need to see the full plan before drawing conclusions.


      After all pre-enchanting TC's is just a method of deck management, so as long as we gain an appropriate replacement the transition to a spellwrighting-abundant meta will be seamless or even appealing.

      An easy example of an appealing new system is the idea of a "prepared items space": a 2nd sideboard allowing wizards to quick draw a selection of previously prepared trained spells (not in TC form). It gives players more versatility with no drawbacks whatsoever - AKA an all-positive update.



      We need all remember the game is going through a transitive period, and not all changes will introduced at the same time. It's important to voice our concerns but we can't get too desperate.

      Times of intensive change can be unnerving and anxiety-inducing - we don't know all that's coming next - but it also makes it easier to solve both old and newfound problems, we can't assume anything is final because at this point it's likely nothing is.

      Well it is now confirmed that rank 2 spells will now no longer be able to be pre-enchanted. They still are leaving us in the dark about what plans they have to make up for us relying on rng main deck pulls. Curious what people thoughts are on them now starting to rule out a mechanic that痴 been with us for 11 years.

      So I just came back to the game and have not the slightest idea what this new system is nor do i have the time to look into it atm. As a long time player, and been through all the changes they made with making tc's, to me the have fix the issue about it being abuse by not allowing to trade enchanted cards and lvl limits. I see nothing wrong with it. I make tc's to put in my side board for fast draws when questing and farming, just in case my two hits in regular deck just didn't kill for some reason. If it is a pvp issue, well I see the appeal in enchanted lower spells and it isn't like no one else can make them as well. I hope this new system is an option but not a requirement to use.

      I don't understand what is the big deal about spellements upgrading spells. I upgraded reindeer knight to level 3; but all it does is do more damage up front and less over time, or less upfront and more over time. Big deal. Total damage increased by five whole points when I upgraded to level 2, and no change for level 3.

      Leprechaun is supposed to add health when upgraded, but the spellements aren't available yet. Other than daybreaker/nightbringer NO spellements are even available at this time, now that Christmas is over and loremaster stopped dropping reindeer knight and krampus.

      And when looking at nightbringer, unless I'm missing something there is no difference between level 1, 2 or 3. If I'm reading the card right, it drops to 3 pip casting cost at level 4, but then no change at level 5.

      At level 5, the x1 is gone, meaning you can reshuffle them back.

      And I've seen videos of new spellement spells in Test. Most of the 2 pip spells that I've seen give either extra damage or an added effect. Ice serpent might put on a 100 absorb or the thunder snake could give a +25% accuracy to yourself. Only odd one is scorpion, which seems a bit glitched right now.

      I have personally noticed this spellements thing seems to be pointless for spells such as reindeer knight. All it does for that spell is bounce around the same 30 damage from either the first or second hit.
