I was wondering how many people on W101 Central have actually purchased the entire game with crowns.
How long did it take?
Are you and adult? over18
Are you a teen? 13-17
Are you under 13?

Actually I bought most of wizard city and some of krokotopia but continued to just buy memberships because I didn't want to go through the hassle of buying everything that cost so much money. But for my age I started playing wizard101 at age 16

No I always paid for membership

Since you are only asking for age ranges, I'll say I'm an adult, and I've preferred membership to buying areas, so I haven't bought very many.

I've remained a crowns player in all my Wizarding days, so I purchased all the zones in the game so far. Can't really give an exact time frame of how long it took me since I started when I was 15, but it usually takes me within 2 weeks to access the zones within the world I'm currently questing in (not including Wysteria, since it's easily done in a day).![]()
I have always remained a Crowns Player. Although I have bought Membership twice many years ago, I never see myself using Membership to unlock areas.
As a long term Player of over a decade, I save money by purchasing areas with Crowns rather than purchasing a membership annually. Ever since December of last year, however, I have ceased spending money on this game due to the many issues KingsIsle withholds.

Originally was a membership player when I first started. Then I bought two loads of crowns when I began to support myself and didn't look back. I'm not a huge player anymore (haven't logged in and done anything for the last 4 or 5 months), so having a membership really seems like a waste of money to me. I have enough to buy through the second arc should I get that far, which, I think, is more than enough money to spend on this game.

Started playing 9 years ago, I was 14.
Had membership from my parents for a long time, then they stopped paying for the game. I got crowns enough to buy the three streets, Crab Alley, Wysteria, and parts of Dragonspyre.
After someone anonymous sent me membership for two years in a row, I went back to being a crowns player. Spent a total of $260 to buy all the areas in one go just a few months ago actually, in anticipation for the seventh character slot. My Myth Wizard is in Dragonspyre now.
Haven't quested with her in months, tho.

They/them. Always knew I was, never had the words for it.
I have two accounts and have bought nearly all areas of the game on both. I began playing in 2009 and slowly purchased areas over the years as new worlds were released. My parents bought crowns for me when I first started playing, and more recently I've been buying them myself. I'm an adult and have probably invested ~$350-$400 into this game altogether.
Going the crowns route was definitely a good idea for me because I've been playing for so many years, but for new players I'd recommend a membership because of the high cost of purchasing all areas.![]()
