Wizard101 on Ubuntu (LINUX)

Hi,

I am running W101 on an Alienware X51 R2 which is running 16.0.4 Ubuntu. I'm running the game through WINE. Game runs pretty good, just some stuttering here and there and lag when battling. Just wondering if anyone else has any further ideas to fix the game from stuttering a lot.

I cleared up the zeigeist-zs process and made sure WINE was using Windows XP for compatibility. All settings are at the lowest. I know disabling Quest Helper supposedly clears up some of the stutterings but I'm not interested in doing that.

Any other Linux users out there who have gotten it to work flawlessly on a Debian system?

I used to run wiz flawlessly on arch, but I have a gaming PC now so there's no need for it anymore.

I haven't tried it yet but am glad to know what you're using since I'd like to leave MS behind entirely and Wizard101 is the only thing keeping me on it.

KingsIsle, please develop a Linux version of Wizard101.

I have issues with keyboard buffer that looks like lagging.
It goes away if you navigate via the mouse.
Could this be your trouble too?

KingsIsle, please develop a Linux version of Wizard101.

I'd love to try Linux but I'm in the same boat. (Plus I'm not sure I'm techy enough to handle it.)

No real techy required anymore. Try Linux Mint.

I use Ubuntu though.
