      Guide to Zone Pricing.

      Guide to Zone Pricing.

Hello everybody, Flash33 here and today I'm going to bring you a guide to the different zone pricings of the game. This guide will focus on the pricing of each zone followed by a total cost of the game as a whole right now. Now each world is divided into different zones within it, each with their own Crowns pricing, and the further that you go into the game the more expensive that each World becomes so please keep that in mind when deciding on which Worlds and/or Zones to get for your accounts.

How this specific guide will work is under each world will first be a pricing for each zone (only one total if multiple zones share the same price) followed by a grand total cost for the world as a whole itself, and at the very end the grand total cost for the entire game as a whole right now.

A couple of things to note though before we begin: The mainline worlds will be listed first, followed by the side worlds. Also, in addition to that, any optional content will be listed at the end of the world as well, so you can be sure that you're not accidentally or mistakenly picking up on side content that you don't want to have at this time. Finally while the main website does a good job listing how much each zones cost it doesn't list how much each world or the game costs as a whole, something I hope this guide can help with.

So now with that all out of the way, let us begin.

If I missed anything then please let me know. Thank you for your time.

P.S. Before you ask, no the section names (i.e. the names before each area set in a world) are not official; I just made them all up myself for convenience and creativity similar to how Pirate101 names each individual book and chapter in its zone pricing section.

P.S.S. Big thanks to The Atmoplex on Twitter for providing me with the folder containing the world icons and @edward sky for the Tale of Four Dungeons icon render since the folder lacked it.

      Re: Guide to Zone Pricing.

Some of the areas are a little optional. No one really needs to buy the first 3 of the 4 dungeons of the '4 dungeons'. Darkmoor is probably a must though. Similarly, no one really needs to buy Kensington Park in MB. Other areas are maybe yes / maybe no. Life needs to go to Sunken City for a spell quest, but no one else needs it. (Life also needs to buy Colossus Blvd. to train life trap, just doesn't seem fair.) Atlantea can be rented as it is has no real farming value.

I suggest you add in the rental prices and terms for the areas that can be rented.

Thanks! I've been thinking about a crowns only account but wasn't sure how much I was looking at.

Great guide, though one major error: Wysteria areas are 1000 Crowns, not 3000. 3000 is for the whole world. That sets your grand total off by 6000 Crowns.

(Life also needs to buy Colossus Blvd. to train life trap, just doesn't seem fair.) Atlantea can be rented as it is has no real farming value.
The point of this guide is to show Crowns players how many Crowns they'll need to buy certain areas and worlds, not to show them what are the best farming hotspots in the game.

I suggest you add in the rental prices and terms for the areas that can be rented.
      I'll do that, thanks.

Whoops, I thought I put 1000 for the Wysteria zones. My mistake, I'll fix that. Thanks.

A bit of a confusing guide, especially when you said things like zocalo-the cenote, new players might think its just the 2 maps, not three points included. Once I knew though, it was very easy to understand. There were some mistakes, but I can see you're hasty to fix them which is great!

      Thanks for the informative guide.

However, you should add some pictures, preferably for the world headers. Right now it's just a bunch of text and it all blends together, at least for me.

      Great guide!

It might help with the 4 Dungeons, if you put the world location for each Dungeon. For example, it might be obvious that Barkingham Palace is in MB, but some wizards might not know where the other Dungeons are located.

Even though this is not a guide about which zones to buy, one of the responses mentioned Colossus Boulevard. Even though CB is considered to have side quests only, it is a very useful zone for all wizards, not just life, as the secret trainer (Mildred Farseer) has spells for all schools. Also, the daily rewards quest giver makes you go to CB before giving you any daily rewards. So, CB is pretty much a must-buy for all wizard schools. Just my 2 cents, sorry for going off-topic.

Hmm, it might not be a bad idea to mention which zones are side quests and which zones are part of the main storyline quests.

Updated the Wizard101 Guide to Zone Pricing to make it more clear which sections feature which areas.
