Do NOT meddle in the affairs of Dragons. for you are crunchy and good with ketchup
I was the hitter for the Elf fight in our guild's raids today, as a Myth to prove that Storm and Fire aren't the only schools that can hit there (and to also let myself be more versatile in what roles I can play). Every fight went cleanly, especially considering that I went in with only 151 damage.
Way to represent Myth! It's an amazing school that is largely underutilized IMO.

I started grinding out the Spiral Showcase. I am not especially enjoying the fishing at the moment. I think I need to find some fish that I need for crafting, so that I have more purpose other than just getting some points.
My 69 large plot garden was a bit of a fail as several plots cannot accept a seed. It was my first attempt, and I have a few take-aways that should help me get it right the second time. It is full of Deadly Ninja Fig and Ninja Fig, with the ultimate goal of having a full 69 Ultra Ninja Fig.
Finally, I am back on the grind for Dragoon gear. After some helpful hints, I am grinding for the Vanguard hat and boots, as well as a bunch of reagents to craft the better versions. I already crafted the Vanguard amulet.
I hope y'all are successful in your wizarding endeavors!

Good luck with that. Don't know what hints you may already heard, but coming from someone who ground out a complete set (all 7 pieces) for every wizard, here's my take:
Prince Viggor does drop the Vanguard boots, but I farmed him mainly for Salts and an occasional Crystal. If he does drop your school boots, fine. If not, and for just about any other Vanguard gear, I just crafted the Vanguard gear
and then crafted the upgrade to Dragoon.
Viggor's Drake, in the whispering Sepulcher, was better for extract. Easier battle and more extract per run.
Yes, I do spend a lot of time grinding just to kill time when I'm bored and have nothing else to do.
Edit: Actually, I was farming Prince Viggor for Monstrology. At the time, he was the best option for what was then the max attainable Monstrology level. I leveled up 5 wizards, and partway on a sixth, with him before Karamelle came out. After that, I just farmed Viggor's Drake for extract and transmuted Salt and Crystal

Last night was another night of farming Abandoned House for the Vanguard hat. I now have the Ice and Life hat, but it is the Myth one I am after. On the upside, I am having great luck with Team Up, and it is usually a two-round affair for the last battle. I was also able to unlock Nightbringer and Daybringer, which will definitely be helpful in the rare situation.
I am so close to the final rewards on the Fall Scroll of Fortune, and have decided that I will spend the 7500 Crowns for this one. The Unicorn Jade sealed the deal for me seeing as it is a no-shatter jewel. I am picking away at the Spiral Showcase, and am fishing in Darkmoor to try and get fish to craft the decks. As a bonus, I was crafting the level 25-45 Balance Jewels, and got the Donate Power jewel I was after (3 pip cost to donate 3 pips).
Some pet training going on, with the focus being on my Deckathalon pets. I am slowly getting there, and have some up to Ancient now with any fails.
In the gardening world, I am really stepping up my Orange Dandelion gardens. Parchment never seems to be available in the Bazaar, so garden I must. This is one of the seeds that cost me more than I get back in return, but if I want Parchment to craft Krok Rematches, then this is the best way for me to get it. I am also ramping up my Ninja Fig production, and am going to attempt a successful 69 large-plot garden tonight. I will be more attentive to plot alignment this time, so I think I will be able to get all the plots plantable this time.
Long grind completed, or what I do to pass the time when I have nothing else to do:
I farm for reagents.
If there is a reagent you can farm by picking it up off the ground, or transmuting it from something you can pick up off the ground, all 6 of my wizards now have at least 990 of it. I just finished getting Glass Slivers to complete the grind.
Some of the more common drops/available in the bazaar reagents, such as the metals from Pyrite up through Draconium and non-transmutable metals like steel and titanium, the same. Even Shocked Keys, same (Gardening Key Limes).
Even a less common bazaar reagent like Flying Squid Ink, I have 2 wizards with at least 990. Hatch Peppers, 3 wizards. All the Moonstones from Beastmoon, not just the school specific ones but Harmonic, Hunters, Elemental and Spirit, 5 wizards have 990. A sixth has 990 of most of them, but is still working on a couple.
Even some of the rare reagents - Amber (Ultra King Parsley), Amber Dust and Merle's Whisker (opening chests while farming other reagents, especially in Mirage) - I have one wizard with 990 of them, and am closing in on a couple more: Vine (currently 976) and Shining Scales (954, fishing Chests in Elephant Graveyard). Other than for Shining Scales, Uwe was a good farm.
Yes, I have a lot of free time on my hands. I am disabled and living in a nursing home. What else do I have to do all day long?
Mostly from Gannon and Madden in the Secret Tunnel in Ariel Jungle. You could also do the boss battle, but I thought it would be easier, and more drops, to do the first 2 battles twice than do the entire dungeon once. With two wizards, a death (avenging fossil from a dragoon amulet) and a storm (tempest), quite often a first round knockout unless they went first and threw a stun or put down a big absorb.
Also good for Sparkling Jewels, Couch Potatos, and (rarely) Ultra King Parsley. And Gear to sell for gold: Armor for 10,000 gold, other gear for anywhere from 4,000 to 10,000 apiece. And lots of other seeds.
Edit: My bad. Sparkling jewels, not Dazzling.
