I obviously did not have enough coffee to wake up before going to the house to install the replacement trim.
I was working on retrofitting some trim around an old very large window that is original to the house (Built 1953). I was installing the last piece that was 8ft long when the neighbors little boy came running up to ask me what I was doing.
He kind of startled me mid swing with my hammer...well, if there is an argument between your hammer
and your thumb, the hammer usually wins.
Took off the tip
, just above the nail and missed the bone...but the nerves at the tip of any finger are very sensitive
...especially if you have fibromyalgia.
So folks, please excuse my worse than normal typing for the next few days...
And PLEASE make sure you start your day with a full tank of coffee, cocoa, juice, milk; whatever your morning start up is.
Ouchie hugs,
Van
~All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us~
LOL, Thank you! Yep...that's exactly what I am doing for the next few days! Being the workaholic that I am, it takes something like this to make me take time off.
Rigo went into panic mode (It looks a lot worse than it is) and is taking over coffee/cocoa duty, as well as all the rest...soooo, I get to sit back, sip the good stuff and watch my anime and other shows (I have the Buzzr channel that plays all the old rerun game shows so I get to see all the old stars and prizes from back then).
At least it happened when I am all but done with construction.
Grateful hugs,
Van

And there are "not so good days".
And then, there is always "tomorrow".
That is not what you were expecting, was it?
