"Daffodils" (First Stanza)
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
This video tells the story of how William Wordsworth's poem 'I wandered lonely as a Cloud' was composed. The most famous poem in the English language was written in 1804, two years after William Wordsworth saw the daffodils while walking by the shores of Ullswater on a stormy day with Dorothy, his sister. Wordsworth's inspiration for the poem came from an account written by Dorothy in her journal.

"Be a Sunflower in a world of Roses."
Sunflowers are totally rare in their form, come in all shapes and sizes, most known for following the Sun,
and many people admire them because they are such beauties and rare to find!
Roses resemble {society} – society is all you see, all you know, all you’re supposed to be as a person.
They represent all flowers.
On the other hand, Sunflowers resemble you. You have to follow the Sun. It’s OKAY to be different.
Be the example. Don’t be ashamed to be different.

Today is Sunday. Just sitting, reflecting in the sunlight, and thinking.
You will have good days, bad days, overwhelming days,
Too tired days, I’m awesome days, I can’t go on days.
And every day, you will still show up.
Dare to catch your best dreams and live them with eyes wide open. Sweet dreams always.

Remember "when"?
An ice cream truck pulls up.
You get to pick only one. Which one ??

I'd have to take the Cream Stix
I do remember the ice cream truck. Even though I've always lived out in the country a bit, there was a truck that would come by our house about once a week in the summer. We'd hear the music of the truck and rush out to wait on him. That was such a thrill for us back then.
Besides the ice cream truck, do you remember the "Bookmobile"?
I don't remember a Bookmobile. Was that out in the country too, or more of a city-type thing?
In the city, I do remember a "huckster". We had a truck come weekly, and talking with them, we found out that they came into Phila. from NJ with their fruits and vegetables that they grew on their own farm. That was a real treat for us too.

Mostly in the country. When school would close for summer vacation, the local library in conjunction with the school systems had a Grayhound bus, stripped of it's seats and filled with shelves of books. It would travel around daily to various points, usually schools, for kids to get books for summer reading.
Now the "huckster" is just called "Farmer's Market". We grew our own fruits and veggies and to tell the truth, I'd have rather got the stuff from the truck. Ever have to weed out two acres of strawberries in the hot summer sun; that was one of my jobs as a kid. I don't miss it LOL.
