Every Christmas morning, we put this video on continuous loop while opening our Christmas presents. Do you remember this? "I triple dog dare you!"? ~Ralphie. On November 17, 2022, Ralphie returns!

Oh very much so. Watching that movie reminds me so much of when I was a kid. The coonskin cap the bully wore, the old coal furnace that would belch once in a while, the old automobiles. But my dad never owned the leg lamp LOL.

I enjoyed the movie, but I am not a "die hard" fan. I have a friend who is nuts about it though, even to the point of having copies of some of the props like the BB Gun and the leg table lamp.

For me, I sit back and enjoy my collection of all the Rankin Bass shows like Little Drummer Boy, Rudolf, The Year Without Santa Clause, Frosty The Snowman and all the rest. I am also fortunate enough to have Polar Express and the Trans Siberian Orchestras' music video Ghosts of Christmas Past. If I am in a really crazy mood, I also have Santa Clause vs The Martians with a very, VERY young Piasidora.

I am looking forward to this return though, I hope they did a good job of it and kept the mood and feeling from the original.

If it's the show I'm thinking of, they came out with a sequel of A Christmas Story last year. I watched it and like most sequels, it left a lot to be desired.

It can be difficult sometimes to smell the coffee when it doesn't get to spend much time being in your pot or cup. There are mornings where I wish I had a funnel to let it go directly into my mouth.

Looking back at all the posts, it is amazing at just how important coffee seems to be to so many of us here at Central.



We could even dedicate and entire thread to it.
