Regarding 10 perhaps it's partially because some people are named Duck, so when you say "Duck, duck" they'll initially think you're calling their name only to realize soon after that that wasn't the case. I remember a situation like this happening to the character Duck in the Nascar Racers episode Duck Unlimited.
