Thank you! The weather did not cooperate, but that's okay. What a day! It was just like Christmas! And of course, there was 'chocolate'. Someone brought a homemade chocolate strawberry shortcake! Just got a new recipe. Awesome day!!

As a dog-lover and current owner of two large dogs (Boxer Mix and Great Pyrenees Mix), I can relate to this. Not sure how it relates to cat owners. Here's a tip: Ring your doorbell on your way to bed at night. This will clear the dogs off of your bed long enough for you to get in and get comfortable.

LOL, that's a great tip. Sadly it has a catch 22 as far as my dog is concerned. She is a dachshund/shitzu mix and can be a little "mouthy" when when protecting her "territory".



If I ring the doorbell at night, the entire neighborhood would be at my door giving me dirty looks.

If you say you want me to be honest with you then you should expect me to be honest with you and you should not get immediately mad or defensive or claim I have an attitude when I'm being honest with you. Doing that tells me you just want Yesman answers instead of actual honesty, and that just makes me less likely to try to communicate with you. If you really want honesty either commit to accepting the honesty or shut up.

NOTE: I'm aware that tone of voice and a persons mental state can play a role in how it's received. This is specifically about people who regardless of those things refuses to accept it as such and instead claims the sender has an "attitude problem" in response to it. Who's the one with the real attitude problem here: the person calmly giving you the honesty you asked for or you for getting all defensive for not liking the honesty received from the person? If in response to questions & stuff like this you say "I don't care", that's the problem, you DON'T care.
