All pets are therapy pets. Most are just working undercover.

Therapists come in many sizes, shapes, colors, hair styles, etc.

My Therapist (Cutie) is a 7 year veteran of making sure my stress levels are at he lowest level. She is a Dachshund/Shih Tzu mix. This is how she relaxes after a busy day of being cute, begging for treats and watching over me...

She was a shelter rescue who at the age of only 7 months had been "passed" through 3 homes (1 Was abusive with a broom and rolled up newspapers). She will be 8 years young in August and is the light of my life.

If you feel like something is missing in your life, take some time to visit your local shelter and see if you can find a forever "furperson" friend to give a forever home. One tip, let them pick you first and you will find a love like you never knew was possible.

Once again, you have a VERY timely post. This could not be more true, let me give you a short example.

As many of you know, I rehab/repair old houses to provide affordable rental for growing families who fall int the middle to lower income range. Part of the program is that once they are in the home, if they maintain a good history and start fixing their credit and savings, we let the buy the home from us and WE carry the "loan" instead of a bank allowing them a path to owning their own home where there was none before.

Our current project is in a stage that relates directly to your current post. The entire electrical system is being worked on which means there is no power to the house. So while that is done, we can only work on interior repair one little area at a time; patch this hole here, fix that trim there, etc.

Each small thing we do without the power on adds up to a lot of completed work in the end, even if it is just 30 minutes of walking around and filling nail holes from pictures that were hung there in the past.

Just because your tired or "out of sorts", just do what you can and be happy with knowing that as long as you do something or anything at all no matter how small, it will add up to a completed project. There are so many things in our lives we need to do, but to think we can do them all at once is just a pipe dream. Take your time, make sure it is done right and be confident in its completion, then move on to the next thing.

As you quoted "1% beats 0%" any day, any night or any time.

They get like that, I'll peel, bag and toss them in the freezer for banana bread in the future. Then after six months of laying in the freezer, toss them lol.

This "hits home". Rigo keeps saving these nasty bananas, even tries to freeze them when they start to "smell" of fermentation. Of course, the excuse is that he is going to make banana bread (I do love banana bread)...one problem...he doesn't know how to bake.
