WOW! I am so glad everyone is safe! We have deer here, lots of them especially during deer season. The locals all say the same thing though that is better to brace your self and hit the deer if you can't safely avoid it...bit I can't do that to Bambi.
Donating an old car (Or any used items for that fact) to a charity is wonderful! Even cars that don't run anymore can help as they can turn it in for the value of the scrap. I have, over the years, donated a couple of them to local Veteran programs as well, and everything else goes to Goodwill.
Just a note for our newer members: It is sharing thoughts, feelings and stories like this one by @AluraMist that make Central so great. Yes, we come here because of the game BUT we stay because of the "family" that has been created here over so many years. The best way to improve teamwork is by knowing your teem mates.

Did you notice?

That sign made me think about the sign at the end of my road that nobody ever notices, says "Not a GPS Route". There have been many tractor drivers made the mistake of not looking at it, go past my house down a very steep hill (we used to sled ride on it in the winter because cars couldn't go up or down) only to find a one lane bridge and tunnel at the bottom and no turnaround. That sign was worth noticing, but they still don't.
