I don't think that anyone was "purposefully misconstruing" your post,
any more than you were "purposefully misconstruing" the original one.
If someone had not mentioned that there was gear (bad gear), but gear, the Original Poster,
might have thought that your post was misinformed and mistaken, and therefore ignored it.

Since I have an Exalted Ice who doesn't have much attack yet,
I'm interested in all of the responses,
and I'm going to try crafting the Armor of Starfrost since it seems it might be good.

Here's where I would start from:

Frostbit Hood, Armor of Starfrost, Thaumaturge's Chill Waders, Waraxe of Old Times,
Blade of the Felled Titan, Alpha and Omega. Life Ammy, and a resistance/attack pet.

There's probably a better combo out there.

My Ice went through the game as the team's tank/healer, so I went for Jade most of the time.

I still haven't gotten my Frostbit Cape, though so I don't have much better than the Celestian Snow Smock or Woodland Tribal Coat for attack. The Tyrant of Winter's Armor would give a little more attack at the expense of Universal Resistance.
Armor of Starfrost crafted from Sardonyx would also be worth looking into.

For boots, something like Thaumaturge's Chill Waders from the Crown Shoppe, look good if you also want to attack.
      Rayzer,

Sometime in Pitch Black Lake, I changed from having major defensive stats and high health to finding the best attack gear. I had the crafted Ice hat from Poh Poh, but Sardonyx offered one better. I am also wearing the Frozen Armor of Ice as my robe, and Hades Chill Boots that have about +165 crtitical damage for Ice, and recently gave up my Alpha Omega ring for the Attahe Leng ring, Shadow Point Wand from the Shadow trainer, switched my amulet for one that has an Ice blade of +45 with a fire prism and am using a deck that has about 20 cards in it, including the Shadow one that offers attacking.

I wouldn't mind farming for the gear, but most places are blinding to me that I have a hard time keeping up with others, like Tartarus and the Hive, that I hate going through them over and over and over and over.......and over. Yes, people asked for challenges from KI, but some of these quests are so insane and a wreck to sanity, that I sometimes resent going through these leveled gauntlets for farming, only to get worthless junk for gear.

BTW, If you are asking me if I want to work for the gear, it sounds as if you managed to nab the Spiral Cup Gauntlet. If so, let me get some potions, find you and try to remain calm about this. I have been maxed out since the Hopper Camp, and am now outside the 1st of 3 galleries in the Shadow Palace.

Have you been able to us the Shadow Point wand that offers 2 curse traps and the wand itself casts a -30 to -35 weakness on enemies? Sure it ain't anything like the Zeus Hailstone wand, but it is an awesome weapon. Looks like the next arc is gonna have Shadow gear.

That's good. I have no idea which of the 4 boots you received, so just trying to give more options on things you might consider looking into.

I literally replied once to correct you that she drops bad gear and also gave my opinion to the poster about gear to look at. You're the one who continues to reply to me and not help anything. And telling the poster that pack gear is better than WW does nothing because most pack gear is also junk. You've done nothing to answer the question, other than saying better gear than level 60 gear exists. So while we all appreciate your input here, for the sake of the sanity of anyone who looks to this thread for answers, either give actual advice or stop replying.

      Ladies and Rayzer,

I created the post because I am finding these quests to be insanely intense when doing it alone and buying henchmen that sometimes make me wish KI would allow a buyback option.

I am always looking for the best gear, and lately I am having a hard time judging the gear as I make my selections. Overall, most gear in KHR offers decent health, mana and some sort of resist, or critical damage or critical block with some school-specific accuracy and universal damage or defense.

L98 gear is just that and compared to the gear from Azteca or Avalon or even Tartarus; and the player might as well keep the older gear and sell the newer stuff at the Bazaar for some fast cash.

When I get in te game I will write down the names, stats and L90 to L97 gear I am using. I would post pics, but it is too draining on my internet account for billing.

      Timothy Pearlflower, Exalted Ice

P.S., Rayzer, what is your wizard's name and where you located? I am in the Pet Pavilion, and I am guessing you are the Crow Realm? Lauren, read my posts to Rayzer, the Hades Chill Boots have +8 piercing and about +156 to 165 Critical damage.

Unfortunately, I don't even think that they sell the Spiral Cup in my Country.

I updated one of my posts with the gear that I'd start with, and then move on from.

might have thought that your post was misinformed and mistaken, and therefore ignored it.

Maybe there is, but wow! You have given me a lot to work towards with my lvl 87 Ice wizard. I'm liking those stats with exception to accuracy. I hate fizzling!

Re: Question about Armor for higher levels

      Hood: Trader's Wintry Mantle
Robe: Unseen Lord's Chill Armor OR Woodland Tribal Coat
Boots: Frost Shrine Slippers OR Boots of the Cold Sun Pyramid (You could also use the Thaumaturge's Chill Waders to get your resist up to 55%, but imo its not worth it for the drop in critical block.)
Amulet: Gem of the Grand Prophecy
      Athame: Shadow Spider's Sting
      Ring: Alpha and Omega Ring
Wand: Lunar Scepter of Anubis (Level 100+) OR Hades' Staff of Frostbite
      Pet: Pain-Giver, Ice-Dealer, Ice-Giver, Spell-Proof (10%), Spell-Defying (5%) (or replace defy with Fairy Friend)
In theory, all those links tell you where to get those items, minus the pet talents of course.
Ideally, that's 80% Damage, 50% resist (with more to fire and storm), and you can calculate the rest yourself c:

Surely you don't plan on leaving camp? Anything outside this area is death. On toast. Death on toast.
