**ALERT** Do Not Trade your Treasure Cards for "Crowns"

WOW how can people be so cruel, this is a kid friendly game and people are going to find some way to abuse it, HORRIBLE!

I cant beleive people would trick kids into that!

People would do anything these days, even to kids. They just don't care.

My friend tried 2 trick me into scamming crowns 4 treasure cards but instead I told him it's bad and said NO, when he said he didn't wanna do it alone, I ignored and reported him 4 trying to get me into something that would of gotten me banned.

Wasn't much of a friend if he tried that, but you made the right decision. Good for you!

Okay this is slightly different but last night a wizard on my friends list texted me to buy him some crowns. Said he needed 50,000 crowns and I should buy them for him.

Right. I egged him on a bit and he told me he would need my email address and other information.

A red flag went up. Only I couldn't report him because he was away from me. So I ported to him. I asked him why would I buy HIM crowns?

He said, No, you buy the crowns for you and I will get free crowns so give me your email address.

Not sure how you would pass an email address in-game.

I just hit the report button, took him off my list and logged off.

THEN I realized he was trying to do the "get free crowns if you sign someone up and they buy crowns. So now I feel very bad. I did go on and email Mr. Lincoln.

Maybe that idea needs to be reworked a bit. I really don't want people coming up to me in game trying to get me to buy crowns...I buy quite enough without some prompting me. If you can get free crowns that easy I would like to get them myself, or let my kids get the free ones.

Maybe KI could clarify this.

I've seen that too along with the "I'll take you to the secret staff shop in Dragonspyre if you give me good treasure cards" scam. Thanks for warning Prof.

I agree, this is sad. To target little ones that don't know any better is just wrong.....WRONG I tell ya!!...lol

I too make treasure cards of all my powerful cards to give away. I am a Level 47 Pyromancer/Diviner so people are usually interested in taking some Helephant and Stormzillas off my hands for me. Heck, I'm so nice that I refuse to take treasure cards in return. I had a person do this for me that I didn't know when I first started and I've been "paying it forward" since. I even have nice enough friends that will give me some Nova's, Hydras, and Tritons if and when I want them. This trading thing was definitely a great idea but for some people to be out there scamming little kids to making them think they are going to get crowns?? That is beyond WRONG to me......you can guarantee I'll be on the look out for these scammers Professor.....

Actually, i admit i trade promotional codes for not so exceptional cards ( Storm Lord was given to me when i offered all my promotional codes i know, i also offered the person free item-pickupables that were scattered in the worlds) I still have that person in friends and i did give them codes but he already used them all (Things like FROG the one that gives 500 gold , land and the other house/castle codes and gamma with summerdragon) If this is an issue anyone can private message me to give it back to that person because i still have him in friends. I dont like to cheat other players i get really guilty. I dont really trade codes anymore because it isnt worth an amulet, desktable and 500 gold but i still trade GREAT cards. But NEVER would i say CROWNS. NEVER...I wont buy anyone 5$ worth ! waste of my mon.........oh wait its supposed to be a scam. Well just tell me if i should give the card back to the person who gave it to me for the promotional codes ( They are the ones that work) Mrs.Greyrose
