We've had lots of requests for a kit to help people host a Wizard101 birthday party. We would like to put together an online kit, and we need your ideas. If you have hosted a Wizard101 party, and have ideas and/or pictures for:

Thank you for adding this, I have wanted an actuall wiz101 b-day party since i started playing, but I would rather buy a kit th..en do something myself with my mom.

A cake...hmm.... What if the cake was a picture of all the teachers? (Including Dworgym) Like on the w101 homepage? And Ambrose and Malistare! Yeah! That'd be cool!

Decorations....
How about cardboard dragon teeth in stones, like in DS.
And you could choose your school, and it would include those color streamers (example: Life=Green and Brown. Storm=Yellow and Purple)

A wand of your school. Like the ones you get when you first join!
Maybe a little stuffed HeckHound or StormHound? Or both?!
You could do (With 'you' reffering to w101 staff) Little spel l cards?
Like Scarecrow or StormLord (Sorry, I only included my two schools for my example. But I like all the schools, those are only two)
AND A POSTER OF AMBROSE!!!!! A small one tho.

Games...hmm....hmmm...

A battle circle and you throw cards out???!!!??? LOL!!!
Maybe a plastic potion motion :P

I am actually trying to plan one for my daughter right now. I don't have any pictures, but lots of ideas.

Party decorations and Party Favor boxes:

Invitations/Thank-you cards with a picture of Wizard City or the spiral on it, with matching white envelope with red stickers to seal it like the one you see in the game.

Dinner plates that look like the class plaques. Cups and napkins with the class teachers pictures. Don't forget the plasticware and a solid color tablecover.

The kids always love paper activity placemats with a photo of maybe some bosses or Minions on one side, and some fun activities on the other. ex. word searches, word scrambles, mini quizzes, etc.

A cardboard centerpiece of Bartleby would be great.

Balloons and crepe paper rolls in the colors of the classes.

Cake toppers: ex. Merle Ambrose and Gamma with Golem Tower.

Party Favor Boxes which include blowouts, sheet of stickers, a little notebook that looks like our spellbooks, a figurine, a class shield tattoo and some gold coins.

Games/Party Activity:

I like to have a party activity set up for guests to keep them busy while we're waiting on other guests to arrive. Something like a wand building kit or amulet building kits.

A Pinata that looks like a tower or a wizards hat.

I'm planning on letting the guests in the pool so I haven't really thought of any other games. But I think I've said to much already.

I hope this helps with some ideas.

My daughter wanted a wizard 101 party in March, but she got a royal princess party instead. Now my oldest son wants a Wizard 101 party in August.

Besides the obvious Wizard City themed plates, cups, napkins, table cloth, goodie bags, balloons, etc..

I would like to see:

1.Wizard 101 spell book, you could add "quests" in them which include word searches, cross word puzzles, riddles, mazes and when they complete the spell book they are rewarded that sticker as if they graduated and became a grandmaster.
2. Wizard wand and hat
3. Music cd of the songs that are played in the game.
4. Photo album which you can slide pictures into for keepsakes -OR- a trading card album to put the new cards into. The new cards would make great party favors.
5.Wizard type science kits with test tubes to pretend to make spells. They are safe. They usually come with color dye tablets, vinegar, oil and baking soda. Also, when they complete their new spells they are rewarded with a sticker for their spell book.
6. Invitations that look like scrolls, come with ribbon and a sticker seal.

-Party Favors for the goodie bags-
Trading cards, pencils that look like quills with a feather for the spellbook, stickers, fake amulets with a spell symbol, rings with different schools symbols.

This is what I wanted to do for my kids birthdays.

How about some kind of gift card with a birthday dragon or some other rare pet. And DEFINITELY real game cards from your own school!!!!!!

How about this?

Posters of all the teachers and Ambrose.

A cake with a picture of Bartleby.

A gobbler pinata like the one in-game.

And actual spell cards, like trading cards.

Post free coloring pages of different characters. Moms can print out for kids to color if there's a lull in the party or to send home in goody bags.

Post free Wizard 101 logo t-shirt transfer for moms to iron onto shirts to commemorate party. Will also be good advertising for Wizard 101 as the kids wander about town in the t-shirts.

Wow, this sounds fun. I think I can brainstorm a few ideas.....

Cake: First of all, it all depends on what 'level' of character the party is. If its fairly small and mild, perhaps just a flavored cake that says Wizard 101. Perhaps, others include "Happy Birthday, Young Wizard" Picture cakes work well with mine, so pictures of teachers or enemies, or even pets or ones wizard makes one bright-and-happy Wizard birthday cake!


Party Favors: Goody bags are always a hit! Lollipops of wands, inflatable wands, and different bags

Like Jenna, I agree with the thought of Trading card - spell cards. Spell cards, that are real and can be bought, with different school specific spells that we play with.
