Writing to Kingsisle: Do's & Don'ts

well your misunderstanding of what is angry or bent out of shape is a little off, not that i am worried about that . I didnt want anyone to think the post wasnt good, it just was misplaced, that is what i was trying to say. I think its funny KI wont read something cause a kid or old person is mad and cant contain it lol, im not bent out of shape (your quote didnt make sense to me i was laughing at a thing they would run accross. prob a funny job to have i wouldnt mind reading email for them for a living, i bet you laugh so hard you cry a few times a day, that is a unique job lol)

What i wanted you guys to focus on is, kids are kids and adults are stuck in their ways, if someone doesnt have the manners to send a email with respect to KI, KI desnt have to reply and play that game with anyone. BUT they should read it anyways, then see if it has value, then toss it or whatever they want to do with it, not toss it soon as they read "want" or didnt use the word "please" or "could".

I was trying to help KI (not the rude kids) understand i know it gets emotional in a business (i know i own one it is very stressful) and sometimes the LAST THING IN THE WORLD you want is a loud obnoxious complainer to deal with, so i get it i do!! trust me i do! I feel for KI and how people talk to them... but like i said before dealing with angry people and calming them down is a business skill. And manners are taught at home, i dont write KI cursing, i dont complain about updates (besides a luck based pet system but i only posted on that once :P) so i am far from emotionally involved, though i do care about the game in a way, i have had a great deal of fun with my younger brother questing together and laughing, but KI needs to be reminded sometimes (like all us busniess owners do, i need to be reminded at work too sometimes) dont take it personally! Just read it, get the point, and dont get mad back, dont get angry back, dont get offended, just read, from a detatched position and the understanding of where people are coming from is much more understood then. which is good for business!! I was trying to help KI, not teach rude kids with bad parents how to write a letter with respcet, my son knows how to write nice letters, matter of fact my son and younger brother have never sent a complaint to KI, so lets not assume you know who is emotionally involved or not cause you think this post is useful. I think its good to, but not focused on the right people, KI needs to be focused on to give them strength and a reality check to not take things so serious, but to be light and let people say whatever, be above that.

You will never teach kids to be nice if your not a parent living with them or have their full respect, and youll never change an old person who is immature to a good one on a page like this. So i see the usefulness you went for (which is honorable), i just see a more useful spot the energy could be spent, and it would help everyone dealing with that in the end. KI has a huge problem with rude people in the game, it didnt use to be that way, why is that happening? those are business things they should pay attention to, thats helpful to keeping the game ALIVE, telling kids how to act when they learn different at home... is a waste, and not helping the game stay alive or make money, look at it from a business stand point, not a emotional one.

I can see you are emotionally attached to this post and are offended that i dont think its a good one cause it focused on a subject that isnt really going to effect people. The kids who have a good discernment between right and wrong and can write a respectable letter will continue to do so and learn from the post, and the rude kids will continue to be rude... sad, but true, thats how it is with business. If "miss jenkins" complains at my studio i cant tell her "excuse me mam i cant listen to your complaint if you talk to me like that, just take your money and go" LOL id NEVER DO THAT!!! I let "miss jenkins" yell at me, i listen and i hear why she is mad and i calm her down talk to her in a way that makes her deal with me more respectfully (show respect to get it out of people) then i find out the real problem and i fix it then my business gets better! Its just a way to help KI, no offense to teaching rude kids manners on a gamer site, feel free to try and do that i just think its a fruitless effort... not that i am mad about it LOL i could care less, just if you want to help KI and be a good helpful person to it, there ARE better places to put your energy then teaching kids to write a letter that will get read by KI... i want them to succeed and do good as a business and im trying to help KI (not the kids) keep a good perspective on things and not get get offended then delete something that could of took the game to the next level... thats not smart business wise, thats helpful to KI, maybe not the kids, but who can help that, they got parents they learn that from at home

Sorry if giving KI some advice on staying cool and bieng like "ya know what he is right thats no big, im a read everything and focus on my game and make it the best i can!" bothered you... but to me thats real help best wishes to all, including KI.

I am very disappointed with KIs level of service.

I have had 2 problems, so very easy to resolve but I never heard back from KI when I wrote for support.

Since I am paying every month and pay for all the additional stuff they offer to continue to play the game
I feel that a quick email was not too much to ask.

KI please consider responding to peoples emails for support in the time period you have agreed to.
I have heard so many that you simply just ignore your costumer and this is not in integrity.

I once again encourage you to do what you say you are going to do.....

These are very good tips, but aren't the messages you e-mail KI automated? (a machine does all of the work and reads the e-mails)
