To get your Shadow spell, you need to defeat 2 Shadow bosses, the first of which is the Shadow of the Land, who uses Shadow Sentinel. He also does ~2700 damage Nova that gives a 90% Weakness. Likes to Doom a lot but you can change the bubble. The easiest way to deal with this boss is to use a Balance Amulet and spam Unbalance, the Balance dispel.
