At the request of Olivia, I have started a new topic dedicated to the online calculator.
The following are the relevant snippets from the previous thread started by DeejMaster. That thread deals with how the damages are calculated. If you are interested in that, you can find it here. I would like to thank all of the contributors on that post for their input.
Updates as of June, 2009:
There have been lots of updates, including the additions of some of the Booster Pack Cards!
As the abbreviations being used seemed to cause some confusion, at the advice of Christo, I am posting the definition of those abbreviations here. You can also find them on the calculator, just above the "Calculate Damage" button.
Card Abbreviation Definitions:
SCC = School Card,
ITC = Item Card,
BPC = Booster Pack Card
TCx - Treasure Cards (TCL - Library, TCT - Tough, TCS - Strong, TCG - Giant, TCM - Monstrous )
Original Post Announcing Calculator:
OK! I am ready to put the first version of the damage calculator out there in public eyes. I have ran several battles in game with this running beside me, and the only issues I am finding deal with boosted/resisted damage in mobs. If you find any, please let me know.
I'll start working on adding Item, Treasure, Booster Pack cards as I can. If you have a specific set of cards you would like to see in there, please send me the following information on them, and I will get it in there as soon as I can.
- Name of Card
- School the card comes from
- Number of pips to cast
- Damage/Shield/Absorb,etc Details
- details about the card in general (Library Treasure Card, or I made this with a Strong card, etc)
Last Update From Previous Thread:
I have fixed SOME of the boost/resist calculation issues...that will be an ongoing project.
I have added all of the attack related Treasure Cards from the Wizard City Library to the list of options you can chose when using the calculator.
That's It For Now!
I hope you all enjoy using the calculator, and continue to post ideas on how to improve the calculator for everyones enjoyment.
