Using the Equal Way, you won't fall in battle too many times because you'll have power AND defense. The Ice is defense, Fire and Death is the power. I think that Necromancers who want to be smart should choose this.

So that's my guide! Impressive huh? These are just three ways to spend your training points that a good and well-skilled Necromancer would do. I think all Necromancers will follow one of these ways!

Nice! I chose to go to buy all the storm spells. I chose this because I have a real life friend that is life, so I figured, he will heal, I will sap health and deal the big damage. Thats the way I did it. When will the "Attack Way to spend the points" come out? Any time soon?

Re: How to Spend Your Training Points

On my Death I trained in Ice up to Tower Shield and Myth up to Earthquake.

So I get a Life and Death Shield for other necromancers that you may fight. Earthquake if I couldn't do anything better to get rid of shields.

I learned Reshuffle, Spirit Blades and Traps and Reshuffle.

Re: How to Spend Your Training Points

You really dont need secondary. wasting training points. Death steal life. Use ice to tower would be enough to get by.

I almost level 50 I only use my own school attack cards. I solo most of the game. I really doubt that the way you recommend spending points is really that helpfull.

Ice to tower if you want life then go for it I choose myth. I have not used myth or any spells outside of my class. I dont need to. I do keep some pixie in case but i rarely use them.

My point is that you be wasting your power pips on storm. It waste of power pips. fizzle rate is higher on storm then any other class it seems. I dont recomend spending the points like this guy said.

Storm does not make up for the attacks. What if you dont have any friends that can help you? They cant heal you. You need to be able to defend yourself. I still recommend doing ice to tower doing myth just dont get earthquake.I would do some in myth spend maybe 4 points in it and do another school if wanted. If Celstia comes out I will be saving my spells for that school.

I agree fire cat is useless lv 10 and up but fire elf is ok in pvp. it is good at breaking shields over 3 turns so you can be breaking someones fire shields and when all of them are broken, you can release a strong fire spell! i do that sometimes. also if you want other spells that are like fire elf but more worth it (like heck hound) sry you have to belong to the fire school

Re: How to Spend Your Training Points

My Death wizard trained Ice up to Tower and Storm up to Kraken (and Storm only because I couldn't decide what else and wanted it to be another elemental school) I also learned the blades/traps from Niles and reshuffle. I have rarely died with this combo and solo'd most, if not all, of the game.

I rarely use attacks from other schools, because it's just not an efficient use of pips. Heals are different, but I don't much bother with pixies or satyrs when I have a wraith or scarecrow in hand.

Re: How to Spend Your Training Points

I didn't find a second school useful for Death. I think I get more value from my Death damage spells than spending the pips on other school damage spells.

I trained Fire up to Meteor because I wanted a Damage-over-Area spell, but I have never actually used it. The four pips will give more damage and healing, more quickly, when spent on Death spells.

I also don't find the Shield cards to be very useful in PvE. I think it is usually better to spend my rounds offensively, on quick attacks and heals, than to play spend rounds playing defense. For very large bosses, I use the Shield amulets - they give three cards, which is plenty if you are attacking quickly and aggressively.

I do use the Re-shuffle card.
I do use the Spirit Trap card for large Death bosses - use both the Death and Life portion under and over a Death prism. I also use the Spirit Traps if I am playing with a Life wizard.

I don't see the need for any Life heals. Generally, the Death Sacrifice card is a very effective and pip-efficient heal - you get 700 points of healing, and take 250 points of damage. And, you can decrease the damage if you can put up a Death Shield first. This can be used to revive a defeated player. Much better choice than a Satyr for 6 pips. You can carry a Sprite Treasure Card if you feel like you need a small heal.

For PvE, I think a Death player should be able to solo the game comfortably all the way through Dragon Spyre, with 5 to 10 training points left over for the new worlds.

Or for no training points at all you can always cast poison which uses the same amount of pip slots as fire elf, 10% more accurate and will remove death shields which is more useful then removing fire shields.

I learned Reshuffle, Spirit Blades and Traps and Reshuffle.
Cool, I thought I was the only one with that kind of setup

Earthquake can be very insufficient due to its pip cost, but I can always use empower with a death shield to make it up. I actually have a use for the myth spirit blade because I can pull out a minotaur every now and then.

As for the setup shown in the beginning of the thread, I see no reason why centaur should be trained. You can easily save a training point, as wraith with a death prism does an equivalent amount of damage because of your natural death damage boost, and it actually heals.

As for the "Unstoppable Trainer," why would you want to train firecat and fire elf? The only reason I can think of is to easily get rid of tower shields, but you have poison for that.

Pretty cool you didn't JUST tell us the classic life to satyr, ice to tower, and the spirit boosts cards. Nice to see something different.
