Is a name change something you want?

Not saying this will ever happen and I don't expect it to happen but like hypothetically speaking, if it were possible to get one for any of your wizards, would you want the chance to change their names? What would you change it to? Or are you satisfied with the names of your wizards?

P.S. Let's say that friends will instantly get the message of your name change on their chat log when they've logged online so there's no confusion as to identity, your friends would still be able to identify you as the wizard of the previous name lol Like not in the way where they'd be confused as to who you are just because of a name change.

I'd have to say no, but I could certainly see some other names running around that, perhaps, looking back -- these folks may have matured a bit since creating them...

Even though I have a name on one of my wizards that I do not care for, I would say no. Trying to remember everyone now is hard enough now if they go and change their names, you will be wondering who is who.

I don't think so for myself, but as was pointed out, I am sure there are some who are "regretting" their choice of names. I do think they need to update the options of "first names" to include more current real first names; this also applies to the auto-censor in the chat system. To this day my own first name is not allowed and it has nothing nasty about it; in fact it is a common word for transportation. Now instead of Van I am known as Nate all over the spiral.

Interesting question. I've heard people complaining about it on other forums, but I'm quite happy with the names that I chose.

My son and I would welcome a chance to change character names to something more befitting their respective schools of magic. We didn't do a great job of naming them (specifically last names).

I would want a name change for some of my wizards, especially since I copied my Ice's name for my Balance. And this feature is 100% something KingsIsle needs to add for the trans Wizards out there, along with an option to change our Wizard's gender. Pride month starts tomorrow, so it'd be a fitting opportunity to add this @Sparck!

Yes. I would change the rather generic name I have for one of my Wizards to something a bit more exotic and unusual. But, since I can't I am very happy with the name she has (just in case she should read this post).
