Oyotomi respawn?

It used to be Oyotomi would automatically respawn

Now you get the dialogue but he doesnt appear, I even tried switching realms

I have seen it done using 4 wizards

But is there a way to do it yourself?

I just tried this out today with success. I had to defeat Oyotomi in the story-line quest, and then hand in that quest (leads to 'Carried Away'), and then he would respawn once I stepped a little distance down the path. Until then, I fought him once, and he never reappeared.
