Loremaster Question

Just wondering, does Loremaster still drop any spells or does she now just drop spellments now? Would like to farm her for Ratatoskr's Spin for my young life wizard, but if everything is now spellments, it's not worth my bothering.

As far as I can tell just spellements, but it is all the spells including ratspinner. They are supposed to redistribute them at some point, so they are not all at the same boss. This should help get what you want, just not sure how far off it is.

Right now you would need to farm Lore until you get enough spellements to unlock the spell.

the only spell she drops from what i hear is just lore master she drops every spellement for lore spells so far

I'm still curious as to the odds of getting a spell, I'd like to think it's the same but I'm not sure. Who ever wants to do the probability mathematics on the Spellement update on Lore, I would much appreciate knowing it actually is the same because as I imagine it, at any chance I would have gotten the amount of Spellements to create a spell all at once, there are now more options as to what I could have gotten instead (other one to "some quantity" Spellements of a different spell, the one-in-a-lifetime max Spellements of a different spell, or more often than not, nothing). Or maybe I'm just overthinking this or I'm completely wrong, when I was briefly doing Loremaster after the update, I had only gotten single Spellements or nothing...

I can give you some ratspin tc that I think is scattered amongst my players if that's your thing, not that the recipe has gotten any easier than it's unreasonable ingredient amounts

I haven't seen any Ratatoskr's Spin spellements in my travels yet, but I have had a few wizards team up for Loremaster while doing the Spiral Scene. They get random spellements which I then trade through the shared bank. I'd suggest farming with the higher level wizards on your account for your young Life wizard, and you'll probably get many more other reagents as you do so.

If you have Skeleton Keys, you could also try farming King Borr in Savarstaad Pass.

Yes you are, I would say on average you get 1 spellement every other run. Rng be Rng.

You may be scanning quickly and assuming they are treasure cards - I'd suggest you check your reagent pages.

I don't know, I'll check the reagents, but with Zarathax it's obvious that I'm getting spellement drops. I can see their names in the center of the screen and can mouse over them on the left side. With Loremaster, I do the mouse over and see just the regular drops.

EDIT: I guess my luck changed today. 2 different wizards got a spellement drop from Loremaster (pigsie and hammer of thor). Drop rate still seems worse than Zarathax.
