Does playing W101 feel slow? or does time move fast?

Anyhow, when you play W101, do you feel like time is moving fast or slow? I mean like when you don't look at the time, do you get surprised that you've been playing for hours or does it feel like you've been playing a while but realize only a short time has passed.
I've been doing housing lately and it feels so slow...

It depends on how fast I'm questing through the worlds. I prefer to take my time through the Academy part of Dragonspyre, Khrysalis, and some part of Empyrea, so how fast time flies will vary on that. When decorating a house, it can fly pretty fast, especially as I dig through my junk house (which will one day become a proper Aquila themed house with Kid Icarus references here and there when I actually stop storing junk in it) for varies items. Once I have an idea in mind for how I want the house to look, I pretty much lose track of time trying to make it come to life.


As for monstrology hunting and farming, it doesn't feel like time is moving very fast. I swear it takes forever to accomplish those, so I normally have to "make" time fly by listening to something on Youtube so I don't get tired of doing it. Once I get what I want, I stop and move on to something else.

Mostly when I play time goes by very quickly.

It doesn’t matter when I start in the afternoon, suddenly it’s time to make dinner.
Actually this is true when I’m questing, which is my favorite part of the game.
Gardening fits into this category also.

If for some reason I have to do pet training, or decorating, time goes by much more slowly.
Which is why I rarely do these activities.

Every time I play, time goes by too quickly.

It really does not matter what I do, this happens and when you start doing all the dailies, fishing, gardens, pets, events and trying to squeeze in questing. There are days, that feels like there is not enough time to get everything done.

Usually time moves fast for me. The only exception is when I'm fishing. I hate fishing but I want a couple things from chests so I do it sometimes. I will think I've been at it for an hour and I look at the clock and its only been 5 minutes lol.

it feels super slow thats it gets boring unless i'm questing or doing bm and i skipped that with everyone cheating

Back in the early days of playing the game, I could sit for multiple hours while playing and accomplish a lot of questing, but now my body tends to remind me to get up and stretch every 20-30 minutes, so I'm then distracted by something else that needs doing in the house for a bit. I also have the television on in the background while I play, which keeps me grounded as to time.

Trying to move items into a certain place via Advanced Movement definitely feels like painting an entire wall with an artist's brush.

When I first starting playing the game I could sit down, start playing and look up and it would be 4am. It seemed like only a few hours, but I would have been there for 6 or 7 hours. Time went by quickly. After several years of playing and buying a little clock to place beside my computer, I would play a few hours and stop. I was managing my time much better. These days, if I log on, the time seems to drag. On a good day I might play an hour. Other days I may log on, realize there really isn't much that I want to do and just log off.

Time flies by for me for sure. Reminds me of the very old joke, "What did one frog say to the other frog while hanging out around the pond? Time sure is fun when you are having flies!" (groan)
