"Renaming" Malistaire and Morganthe Items.

It was originally discussing only Malistaire/Morganthe gear, but any other Dragonspyre and/or Khrysalis gear changes may also be posted in this thread.

Could someone tell me how to add new Malistaire/Morganthe gear drops? For instance, I found this recently,

Leaf Shield Clogs of Vigor



But this is already a gear drop from Morganthe, Leaf Shield Clogs of Vigor, for level 98+ wizards. Perhaps the naming convention could be something related to level? Leaf Shield Clogs of Vigor (Level 100+)? I'll gladly add these to save others the trouble but I'd need to know how to do that.

I think I should also add that item finder says that you can only get these boots from Balor the Broken Fang in Sardonyx/Shadow Palace, but we all know item finder can be unreliable.

P.S.: Also going to use this post to shamelessly plug the Circle of Thorns item card verification.

The Wiki Masters did post this new Naming Convention for "Items".

Following that "Naming Convention", you are correct. This new Item would be named Item:Leaf Shield Clogs of Vigor (Level 100+).

At the same time, we would add an Admin Note to the old gear page asking to rename that page to Item:Leaf Shield Clogs of Vigor (Level 98+). I added that note just now.

There are also two other Items that need screenshot verifications for this same issue, where the "Level 100+" Items have been discovered:

Item:Shadow Spider's Sting

Item:Gem of the Grand Prophecy

I included a Link to this thread in those Admin Notes too.

A Wiki Master will rename the old pages as the newly-discovered "Level 100+" screenshots are posted. A screenshot for the new gear is needed to verify the differences in stats, so that the Naming Convention can be followed.

This is the new version of Soulsinger's Soulsword, one of the Glowing Wands of Dragonspyre. I still have the old version of the wand, and that one was unchanged. The item finder on it has changed from Ivan Soulsinger to unavailable. This is likely the same for the other wands.

No, I only saw the new version on someone. I actually tried farming for the new version but couldn't get it. Perhaps it's level locked like spellements.

Anyways, here's two more items I had on hand. I'll be farming for more later. Both of these I obtained myself directly from Morganthe after the May 2022 update.

First time posting anything, hope I got the attachments right. Bunch of DS drops I farmed myself, including every amulet aside from Ice's. All of the amulets come from Vesta Shadowmark in the Forum. The athame comes from Gurtok Piercer, and the ring from Gurtok Firebender. Hats come from Tumok Gravelbeard in the Dragon's Maw. Robes come from Malistaire himself in the Crown of Fire. Still looking for shoes and wands, and assuming I got this post right I'll hopefully have more to report soon.
A note for the amulet blade cards though - they count the same as trained blades and don't stack like other item card blades do.

Thank you so much for all of this information and for the screenshots of the new drops. I will start putting Admin Notes on the original drops (received before the May 2022 Game Update), so that those pages can be renamed. (Copies of these screenshots on file.)

New pages must be set up for these new drops (received after the May 2022 Game Update) following the Naming Convention for "Items".

Update: Admin Notes were added to all of the original Items listed in Post #6 above, to "rename the original Item following the Naming Convention". Screen capture attached for the Recent Changes List showing those Items. On the Recent Changes List, click on the word "diff" to see exactly what change was made.

Wrapping up farming for the night, grabbed 2 more pieces of gear. Hat again coming from Tumok Gravelbeard, and my first pair of shoes comes from Malistaire. Haven't gotten the balance hat yet but it looks like the bubble item card on the shoes is the same as the ones the hats give. If the amulets are any indicator, balance could have a slightly different set of cards though.

Today's farming session wasn't very long but I was able to snag the Myth athame from Gurtok Piercer and the Myth shoes from Malistaire. I haven't seen the Myth hat yet either but it continues to look like the global item card on the shoes will match the item card the hats give.
