      Was anyone aware of these requirements?

      EDIT: At the time I posted this, I was only aware of storyline restrictions on crafting the treasure cards. I have since discovered that the teleport mark and recall spells sold by Hampshire are restricted as well..

      While working on cantrip badges for a couple of my wizards, I discovered what appears to be some storyline barriers to cantrip advancement. I initially assumed this was a bug, and reported it in the appropriate forum. But apparently Ive missed some information about world completion and other requirements, although I could find nothing about that either in the updates or here on the forum. (I did not do test.) The only reference in the update notes and quest dialog is about wizards needing to be at least level 25 to start the cantrip quest.

      So my question is, how many of you were aware, either during test or afterwards, that only wizards who had finished Avalon would be allowed to craft all of the recipes needed to become a level 6 crafter, which is a prerequisite for buying the extra teleport mark?

      I am admittedly disappointed that KI has continued to lock crafting content to the storyline, but Im especially concerned that these prerequisites have not been well-documented for players. It is far too easy to focus on the treasure cards needed in order to level up, and entirely miss that the crafting process itself has further restrictions. I hope that KI will consider removing these requirements, or at least find a way to prevent lower-leveled wizards from wasting their time, energy and reagents.

      Here are the recipes I found that have additional prerequisites. (The only one that makes sense to me is the Arcanum teleport.)

      I have to wonder, what's the point in inconveniencing Players with these pointless requirements for a harmless side activity? At least we can mark these arbitrary restrictions to the update being rushed, as made evident by the "-- Add FinishAV to ClientBadgeNames --". Now that Test Realm is out, KI should have all the time in the world to address these discrepancies.

      A few levels do not have trained spells yet, so if you want to level you have to craft tc. I got to rank 9, tons of regents lol.

      They will be adding spells though, so you do not need to rush you can wait for them.

      BTW those are cantrips ranks, not crafting levels needed to craft the spell

      My issue is not with having to craft treasure cards. I'm quite willing to spend the time and effort it takes to level up that way, and have already been doing that. But in each of the photos I posted, you will see some "hover text" at the bottom. These are storyline requirements that KI has placed on being allowed to craft those cards. So my Ice wizard, for instance, who has not finished Avalon, is not allowed to craft the Mana III treasure cards, which she needs to be able to get to level 6 in cantrips.

      Totally missed that, only leveled on my main so I already have all quests done. Sad no one noticed it in test. They will be adding ne spells (at different levels I hope) at some point. Right now it hasn't much use except cantrips chests, so there is that.

      nope as almost everyone on test was 100+ and it being a PvP update means everyone has there setup for X lvl they prob saw cantrips as a waste of time and energy when they have new pets to make or gardens to upkeep and some of those badges should not be that far into the game outside of teleports as healing and MP ones are kind of moot you'd heal faster with base hp regen and mp is in the commons of every world that takes 15 sec to fill vs 60 sec for some HP/or MP
